I'm surprised you didn't mention when either Steven or Marc (it's been awhile since I watched and/or rewatched that scene (I say "and/or rewatched" because usually when rewatching I lose interest quickly, likely due to ADHD, and the last rewatch was supposed to be with my Mom, but before seemingly lethal at the time health complications, that was put on hiatus, and we started watching Fallout anyway. We have yet to get back to Moonknight, mostly because of issues regarding my difficulty initiating stuff, and also she has a rare thing that makes her allergic to certain people, me being one of them, either that's genetic or I'm just unlucky, because I only person I trust with certain things is myself, and it's a health risk if I swallow my own discharge. Also, my throat just gets easily uncomfortable, and viscus fluids don't help, plus I'm not very flexible and without proper warmup and experience, and past a certain age it's usually very hard to even semi-safely... maybe that's abit TMI.)) more realistically switched to Jake in episode 5. Also, the comics are putrid rep, and as for other inclusion stuff, this show is also excellent and infinitely better than the comics. Thing about stochastic terrorism is that the perpetrators can technically always hide behind a: "I didn't *_KNOW_* this could happen!" whenever something bad happens, and when talking on super large scales, this is usually "satisfactory", only because the ones oppressed aren't really able to speak up, because they aren't ever the ones in power. This situation isn't really different on that last bit, but basically, the show set a precedent which to go under, goes back into doing stochastic terrorism, and although the direct affects of stochastic terrorism aren't really shown, the cause is, so any DID in Moon Knight stuff played less empathetically is basically directly rejecting that, making it hopefully more obvious when this happens. Sorry, I spaced out for abit when writing that, -the point was supposed to be connected with the whole of good rep in the show, not just the DID, and so the "showing this non-neurotypical-straight-white-cis-male born in, and from, and raised in the US, as empathetic" bit doesn't actually as a whole have that much positive beyond kids being able to look up at the screen and say: "She looks like me!" but in a dumb child voice, and non-dumb Egyptian accent. realising we're a multiple has led to us coming back to this media. we dont even fully remember our first watch of this show, so rewatching with this insight has been so fun of us just being like "yep thats happened to us". also the "youre not alone" "yeah well thats part of the problem innit" hilarious. We have been binging your videos. Thank you for all this information. We share all the traits with OSDD-1b. The body's owner has been thinking she's faking and even apologized to people who claimed we were faking DID. We explained why in other videos.

We're curious about this and hope to get a few answers. We're a new system, not yet diagnosed but we're 90% sure. I have memories that don't match up with the body's. Is it possible to gain communication with fellow alters even after recent discovery? There's about 12 of us already, 3-4 Fictives. We're able to talk to each other and switch out fairly quickly, and used to co-front when we thought we were comfortable enough to. The body's owner recognized that some of us existed 4 years ago but choked it down because of a lot happening, and we all resurfsced at once, if any of this information helps. Is there a timing process for anything like forming a headspace or communing with one another?

We haven't been able to get diagnosed yet. We haven't even gotten a therapist, but we've done our research and everything fits what we feel. We came out about 2 weeks or so ago. We lost a friend yesterday who came out as a system before us. When it clicked, the original host was excited to come out because there were 3 other alters. She felt safe. Only reason we're sharing now is to see if anyone else experienced another system calling your own fake.

I was watching Murdoch Mysteries and they had a character with DID in season 3 episode 5! The series is set in the late 1800s so not much is known about it in the universe but I felt like they handled it really well. The doctor was fascinated with the character of Charlotte but didnt treat her as a freak. She was found with an axe in her hands so she is questioned as a murder suspect but the narrative doesnt present her as a villain or the likely killer. Would love to see your reaction/opinion to it!

Hello 👋 I'm our system's host and a fem non-binary, my name's Willow. I struggled with this for a long time, especially being a he/they nonbinary. I tried to fit the androgynous stereotype so I could "look" nonbinary but something I learned was that there is no "look". No matter what you do, people are going to gender you, and try to put you in a box, so you might as well make your own box and decorate it however you want! You can show the label on the box to the people who care about and respect you, but everyone else is going to do whatever they want anyways ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm afab, nonbinary, and present feminine too, and I use he/him pronouns most often. You're allowed to do whatever makes you most comfortable. And that includes embracing a gender identity that might be temporary. Maybe it will change, maybe it won't; what matters most is doing what is right for ourselves right now.

I think there's a beauty to being ephemeral. Will I be the same me I am now in a year? Who knows, but that's okay. Nobody stays the same forever, life changes everyone. 'mimicing others in the environment' we literally have a part named Chamillia who is responsible for social interactions and amusing the rest of us when theres too much social tension. She mimics people, animals and sounds very well and often adopts accents when she fronts to change how others act towards us in response.

While not perfect, Doom Patrol has been the closest portrayal to my own experience, with most of the alters being within the system and not really coming to front very often and us having only one little. We have different traumas (mine stemming from being a burn victim and the subsequent fifteen or so years in and out of the hospital + some other more mild traumas) and hers being... I will not speak of her exact traumas, but they involve her father. But despite this, it's the closest I've seen to me. And I actually encourage you to watch the whole show, they really do a good job with Jane in the later seasons.

I watched part of s1 and I don’t even fully care if she’s good rep or not I do like the character. And that’s okay too!! We can like a character and have issues with them at the same time. Most of my favorite characters I have issues with in some way. We were very put off from her at first just simply because of her name Crazy Jane. That alone told me that it probably wasn’t going to be necessarily good or accurate, but that set my expectations to a level that I could enjoy the character more personally. I totally get why others wouldn’t like the character or wish things were written different, and I agree with that too.
