Survival! Adventure!... Finding simplicity in nature and utilizing simplicity for a better life and better health. Follow me as I explore this amazing natural world we live in. I will take you to amazingly beautiful places, many of which few people know. I seek to unveil the ancient mysteries of health through a indigenous-based diet utilizing the many wild edible plants and simple animal products. I test my body's ability to endure long hike's in different climates and terrains, to sleep in unusual places, to eat what I find, to endure 1000 insect bites. This channel will grow as I continue to explore and seek answers.

Primitive Food Storage under a Rock - will it survive until Winter? (episode 3.5)
In the primitive world acquiring food is difficult enough but protecting it from wild creatures and the elements it is also challenging. The natural world is the playing field of a fierce competition for the most important survival resource - food. In this video I explore one possible technique to keep this valuable commodity safe from the wilderness.

While exploring areas that have a history of native culture I am always looking for clues to their past existence. Often I find mortar holes which provide evidence that a site was used for the processing of wild food and often for gathering of wild foods too. In this video I revisit the site where I placed a clay pot with pumpkin seeds four years earlier to experience a little of what it may ha...

Primitive Trick to Get Drinking Water in the Desert

Don't do what I do unless you are in a real survival situation or you are prepared to deal with potential consequences. I have consumed raw wild water in many places and only one time did I ever get a very mild case of diarrhea and that happened in a river that passed through several towns in Mexico. I have consumed water from springs and streams in deserts, mountains and coasts many times with...

How to Get Lifesaving Water from an Agave Cactus
zhlédnutí 1,7MPřed měsícem
In the desert water is often the number one survival priority. If there is no river or spring then what can you do to get water? Cactuses retain large amounts of water inside of them but that water is often mixed with toxic compounds that can cause more harm than good if you consume them. But there is a way to get safe drinking water from certain species of cactus. In this video I'll show you h...

Firing the Biggest Clay Pot I ever made

This adobe brick kiln works well to fire pottery. I recently made this large pot from raw earth sourced in the pit next to my hut. This pot will be used to collect and store water. The process for firing this pottery is simple. 1) I place some wood and kindling in the kiln. 2) Then I light it with hot coals collected from the fireplace in my hut. 3) I allow all the wood to burn down. 4) Then I ...

Hello, is there a video of you making the orange prickly pear fruit?
Stuff like this is going to be super confusing to archeologists
Have you considered making the hammock a bit larger? It doesn’t seem that big or very comfortable, and if you’re going to be sleeping on it then it should roughly cover the waist a go a bit around it as well. Also do you use any pillows or anything for neck support and comfort? Btw love your videos, huge fan of your content. My fav video was you making that mollusks and veg soup from a few years back.
真到世界末日时,您是最不用担心生存的人了。

Hello Chad! What camera are you using? You're filming in such windy/sandy conditions, and I'm wondering how the camera survives. P.S. Thank you for your videos!
Hola se ve tan facil pero que dura debe ser esa vida. Exitos cariño
do you ever get splinters from breaking juniper logs by hand?
Yes, I do but it usually happens while filming because I’m distracted by the camera and trying to hurry so I don’t use so much battery.
Chad is back 🙏
Very good tip. Just twisting it with your fingers takes a long time and is probably much more tiring than this. I'm going to try this method.
Can we burn it without a clay pot?
