It was wonderful to watch this although of course very disturbing. I read two books which are collections of his talks which were amazing. I actually wish very deeply that he was alive now because he is such a deep intellect as well as broad in his understanding and we need someone with that ability right now. We have various people who seem to display this who actually are from the zionist state but are living as expats, eg Ilan Pappe. . We have definitely some Palestinians such as Mr Khalid who also have great depth to their knowledge but Edward Said was a musician at heart and he brings a different dimension to any discussion. The fact is though, there is both the land and the people, who identity Jewish, and these people have an opportunity to live on that land with the indigenous people if they are able & willing.
