    Hi. I bought this inverter few days ago, but can not understand how cooling system works. During 4 hours inverter become too hot with 45W load (TV). Cooling fans are not spinning. They are running only 1 sec when I am turning on inverter using button. You dont have such problem or it is ok for this model?

    • @AustellHenderson
      @AustellHenderson Před 5 dny

      @@user-te7bh2fc7n Hi. The fans do not stay on all the time. They only come on when needed and they can run and different speed depending on the heat and not the load. I only use mine to run a 1000watt air fryer, but my inverter never gets hot to touch. As the chips cook and the heating element switches off and on then the fan speed will change. Only thing I can think off is the metal body of the unit helps get rid of heat so it needs a space all around it. If your cables are lose then that would cause heat. I intend to get thinker cables for mine as they would be the hottest part. It comes with a 12 month warranty, so if I was you and you think your unit might be faulty then find something that uses a 1000 watts and run it at that rate for 30 mins or more. It should do it without problem and if it fails then return for a replacement.

      @@AustellHenderson Thanks for your reply. I can hold my fingers on inverter case, but comparing to Novopal 1.5 kW with connected refrigirator (85 W load) Renogy has higher temperature in almost similar conditions. I will try to test with a higher load, as you advised, and additionally check the built-in temperature sensor just in case. Currently, the inverter is working well, there was no shutdown due to overheating.

      Hi. My friend is away on a foreign holiday at the monent. He also uses the same inverter as me, but he uses a 800watt air fryer with his and a Electric underblanket. He was to give me a new set of power cables so when I meet up with him( could be a few weeks, HGV Driver) I'll make another short video on how the fans work and what temperature the unit, cables and battery become. When I do it I'll put a link to the video here. CZcams should then send you a notification. Hope that helps. The only other thing I'll say about the fans is that cheaper inverters just have them blowing all the time. Not much good if you are using them at night with a electric underblanket as the noise keeps you awake. The fan are there to stop the unit overheating and getting damaged. I used mine during a heatwave in the boot of my car using the full 1000watts and the inverter never cut out. I'm using mine now over a year and it's used most weekends

    • @user-te7bh2fc7n
      @user-te7bh2fc7n Před 2 dny

      @@AustellHenderson Thanks. It would be interesting to watch the video. Yesterday I modified the inverter cooling system. Installed an additional 12V board with a temperature sensor to control the fans. Now the fans will start at a temperature of 35 degrees Celsius at low speed. At 55 degrees, the fans will go to maximum speed. RPM are adjusted smoothly depending on the temperature.

    • @AustellHenderson
      @AustellHenderson Před 2 dny

      @user-te7bh2fc7n it sounds like you know what you are doing but you shouldn't need to do it. I just wondered if your inverter maybe had a fault. My friend still on holidays but when he gets back we'll do a few tests just to see how hot or warm it gets. When I bought mine I payed the small amount extra to amazon for the 3 year warranty as I didn't have much luck with so-called 2000watt inverters before this and it cost alot more. It couldn't run my 800 watt airfryer. I also have anorther 500 watt pure sine wave inverter made by Bestex but I never use it because the fans run the whole time and are to loud when I used it to power my Electric Underblanket. The noise kept me awake

      Hi. Depending on how tall your grass it you might have to ajust the hight to start with. Unlike most people who do what they know, I seem to spend alot of time solving problems and working stuff out for myself as I do it. Thing like my coal fire Back Boiler leaking during my Christmas Holidays, cutting my stone fireplace so it would be smaller and moving my kitchen into my bedroom which meant that I needed to work out how to get mains water and new electric ring circuit installed. My next project will be to finish off turning my old kitchen into my new bedroom. I had problems trying to get the mains water turn off valve in the public street and trying to find insulated panels for a shower idea that I had. Both haven't been solve so I need to work around them. A birds nest also held me back but I'll be Car Camping the next few weekends then hopefully ill get on with the bedroom. CZcams is just a hobby for me. I don't earn any money from it, nor do I want to. Your side Panals are probably upside down. I did the same mistake at the start. It doesn't matter what way the side panals are when doing any off the other types off base units, but when doing the drawer unit then the predrilled holes won't line up if the side panals are upside down.. If you look closely to the holes in the side panal you'll notice that top and bottom are not a mirror reflection of each other. You will need to dismantle the base unit and what is now the bottom of the side panal, turn it so it now becomes the top then the holes for the drawer runners will be in the proper place. Hope that helps.

    Typical Omagh council, putting signs in kilometres. It’s Miles that we all grew up with and still is in the north

    • @AustellHenderson
      @AustellHenderson Před měsícem

      For some reason most walks are in kilometres. I think it so people think they have done a longer walk than they have. I would use both inches and cms when DIYing, but I don't always know how far a few kilometers is. In a normal, Luna walk, with her playing, sniffing, we would count every Mile at 30 minutes time, so if a walk was 2 miles I know to allow a hour for it.

    Luna is so calm now compared to when you got her . Well done Austell you must be a good trainer. We were at the Gortin Park last June when we were over there from Australia. Still enjoy your adventures, we miss the NW200 but good coverage on line recently

      I wouldn't say that I was a good trainer. Its just that Luna and I trust each other more now. She has calmed down in the last six months or so but its probably more down to her age. She's 3 and a half years old now. She still wants to chase stuff but if I shout then she does come back. Sometimes I think she getting to quiet. I still like to see her play with other Pups, but sometimes she just wants her ball more.

    I bet people can’t believe the shambles in Northern Ireland. You can’t just take your car to get an MoT at a garage within 48 hours. Can take up to 6 months if you don’t go on every single day

    • @AustellHenderson
      @AustellHenderson Před 2 měsíci

      The weird thing is that I trust our MOT Centre's more so than a garage. The type of equipment that they use, most garages wouldn't have and these test Centres don't run at a loss, and yet it only cost £38. The problem is that of the NI Government. When I bought my car 5 years ago it needed a MOT just 2 months later and at that time the MOT Centres were having problems with demands. Then we had some Centres getting Cracks on the car lifts, and just like when a aeroplane gets a crack, all Centres where grounded as they all use the same brand of car lift. The Centres starting doing overtime at weekends then Covid came, then after Covit the demand for test went to its highest level in history. Then they had a Strike for a pay rise, and now some Centres are again getting cracks on the Car Lifts. Londonderry MOT Centre is the same as it was 20 years ago, but there's lots more cars on the road. They bought land several years ago at Maydown Industrail Estate for a new Centre, and yet nothing changed. If they Simply charged £50 for the test and get on with building the new MOT Centres

    Thanks! This has really helped me out. Could you send a close picture showing the wire colours please? Where they connect to the car wiring loom. Many thanks!

    • @AustellHenderson
      @AustellHenderson Před 2 měsíci

      Hi. I never did the original wiring. It was done before I took ownership of my car and that's why when I had the fault, I bought the same model of bypass box that had already been wired into the car. All I had to do was plug the new box onto the old wire harness then I just wired in the 12 volt trailer socket. Since then I've installed a Pure sine wave Inverter thats powered from a lithium battery and removed all the car seats and installed a bed for car camping and its no longer easy to get back into the wiring loom without stripping out the car. When you get the bypass box then it has the wiring instructions with it. The one problem I've had since making this video is now my bypass box is always live, so if I'm not using the trailer socket for a while then I just remove the fuse. When the garage wired the first one up then they took the power fron a 12 volt aux socket and then if the car was turned off then the bypass box also would turn off. The problem with that is if the car ever broke down on a cold wet winter night and I had the caravan on tow, then although the hazard lights and side lights would be on in the car, the caravan tail light would not light up, which I thought was dangerous.

      The tool is just too heavy. I tried to remove a fence post with it, but the chiisle was too short, so ive since bought a 6.3kg SDS Drill. Still haven't tried it out yet, but I've another bit of wall needs knocking down, so probably do it within the next few weeks.

      I didn't go in to far in case I got locked in. No other widows or doors to get out. The fact that the outer shell was strip off first might mean that it could've had something between it and the blast wall that they don't want the public to know about, so it could've been removed before hand. There are still lots of police station around Northern Ireland that are still high risk of being bombed, even though there a so called peace process. They have just spent a few years extending a police barracks in Londonderry. They had to build a temporary blast wall first, just to protect the workers who where building it. I found it interesting that it had lots of layers, bit like one of them Russian Dolls. Not sure if it ever sold.

      Hi. My next video is in Dungannon. The Hill of the O'Neil. I always wanted to see it but it was always closed. It will be released in the next few days. I've been to Dungannon Park and it was there when I was in the Caravan Park around 15 years ago, that I was told to put my Dogs on their Leads, and that was when I was walking them in the Park itself. I thought this place was no good for me so I got a refund and left but I was too late to find another Campsite and had to wild camp that night. I've been wild camping ever since. Ive also got some videos comeing up in the next few weeks of Benburb, the Ulster Canal and Mill Town. I returned a year or two ago with my last pup Willow. I'll leave a link below. czcams.com/video/9ce_i3-gy6s/video.htmlsi=els68qC9bpiWKpsw

      Hi Liz. I just do youtube videos as a hobby. I don't earn any money from it, nor do I want to. I just use a gopro camera and all I have is its built in mic. Other folk making videos would use external mics but I'm just a min wage worker , but your not the first to say that you can't understand me. It's not all down to the mic. I'm from Londonderry in Northern Ireland and we just speak differently. There are sometimes when I make a video that I find that a small section of it could make a more special video. Boat Crash was one such video and got over 430k views, so i I wonder if you would like to preview the first video that I've ever made with subtitles and see if it makes any difference on how I'm heard. I'll put a link below but I still have to get someone to check the spelling for me first, as I get lots of comments on my wrong spelling too. czcams.com/video/Dbz7WZU6KK0/video.html Thanks

    Would have been better to use a tiled splashback. Builders did exactly what you did and ran a clear bead of silicone along the joint once it was in place and within 4 months the splashback is now swelling as moisture is getting in somewhere. Totally bad idea to use a chipboard panel as a splashback.

    • @AustellHenderson
      @AustellHenderson Před 2 měsíci

      I tend to agree with you. When I bought the kitchen the idea was to use solid beech worktop and splashback, but being a natural wood, 2 out of 4 of the worktops that I recieved split and after 6, 7 months B&Q agreed to replace them all as long as I got the replacement from them. I never intended using chipboard splashback but I've alot of other work to do around my home and I thought the splashback would be easier. I think in a few years time I'll replace it with Tiles
