(2) The Event gets underway - Armed Forces Day, Jordanstown, Newtownabbey 22nd June 2024

After getting something to eat, we leave our car parked at the Ulster University and take the short walk to the Armed Forces Day Event at Jordanstown, Newtownabbey. Upon arriving we could hear the Royal Irish Regiment playing their anthem, Killaloo, so we head towards the main road to watch the main parade.

I'd never been to one before so I missed bits here and there but now I know what happens, I'll be better prepared for next year's event which will be in Bangor. Luna did that much running on the beach with the local weans throwing stones into the water, that the following Monday morning she could only do half of her morning walk, and it still took her a hour to do.
