You can buy a rechargeable battery for the XBOX Controller. But having AA removable battery options is definitely superior, and will keep the controller lasting longer. Can you imagine having to unscrew and dismantle the controller to swap out the battery after a few years? Yuck.

I wouldn't buy that for 300 thats dumb a 3050e is not a gaming chip. You can run light games and indie titles. thats a waste of money its underpowered and overpriced.

I love the Steam os on my Deck, I wish I could have the official Steam os on my main pc, sadly it seems that Steam have abandoned the idea of releasing it for regular desktop. For now I have to stick with the immutable version of Holo iso I'm planning on getting the OLED Deck as well, and I'll probably give the LCD one to my sister, it was the 64GB but I upgraded to 1TB and it's an amazing device

The higher the specs of Ur pc the lower Ur time to spend time playing with it😅i usually watch yt Vids and barely playing.. When my set up was a mid even tho graphics are bad I've spent at least 8hrs a day and 15hrs when on day.off lol And now I order the steam deck oled and can't wait to have it... I suppose to buy new phone bcoz I have 5yr old android phone but I don't think I need to upgrade my phone coz it's just for messaging and watching vids lmao

All games run just as great from the sd card so I don't feel the need to upgrade my ssd yet.

Only upgrading because I have a Launch Steam Deck, and only a few games run fine before hardware issues attack.

Being able to configure inputs with virtually infinite combinations is really my most favorite part of the Steam Deck.

Is it possible to run Dantes Inferno at 60fps with Xenia? My old PS3 runs it at 60 and RPCS3 can run it at 60 but its really demanding. Xenia seems way more lightweight and less buggy graphically

Probably too late for this to help anyone but on the pc version of xenia switching between the regular and canary versions of the emulator can make all the difference. For example, RDR works best on canary and MGS: Peace Walker worka best on the regular one. Couldn't tell you why but I always try switching version before adding patches or someting.

I have 2 #1 360 games. Kameo, and Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise. Kameo's graphics and colors are very beautiful. It's very eye candy. For Viva Pinata TiP, I just have memories of startin new games, just to go on random people's garden, and give them card exclusive pinatas 😄 I also really like unlocking new pinatas at my own pace, and blocking off Professor Pester. Anyone know if there's a cheat to make him never appear?

For DS, 3DS, and Switch emulation, is it possible to use the touchscreen for touch compatibility and/or configure the touchpad to be used as a cursor for those purposes? There are lots of games especially on DS and 3DS that make heavy use of touch controls as the main control scheme. On the original steam deck these games aren't really playable because of the low input response. I know it's supposedly better on the OLED but idk if it's enough to play games such as Kid Icarus Uprising, Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks, The World Ends with You, Pokemon Ranger, and Metroid Prime Hunters to name a few. Is the Legion Go any better in this regard?

Valve really bridged the gap between console and PC with the steam deck. I like it as a console gamer, because it doesn’t feel like a PC. PC gamer like it because it doesn’t quite feel like aconsole, and they don’t have to be stuck at their desk.

Not the best but the worst

Feel you. I bought mine last week. I’m 32 and a dad of a 2 year old and a 2 month old. It’s nice to play games in between the busy moments where its to slow to start my gaming PC or when I’m not at home. I also have a switch but the performance is too weak, the ergonomics aren’t right and I don’t want to buy games twice since i already have a ~200 game steam library.

I’ve lunch lcd base model and I’m getting oled 512 gb for exact reasons as well 👍🏻

This is just my personal preference, but this is the most ugly windows handheld I’ve seen from one of the bigger companies, oh and it sucks. Get a Deck, Switch, Go or anything else
