    • @AnyoneCanTravel
      @AnyoneCanTravel Před 16 hodinami

      Hi! This video is about local transportation in Nice. I’m not sure how exactly to get where you want to go but I’d recommend using google maps. It looks like the fastest route you need to go to Marseille and then take a train to Gap and then another bus or you can take two buses from Nice. I found that all on google maps though and have not done this myself before.

    • @AnyoneCanTravel
      @AnyoneCanTravel Před 16 hodinami

      Hi! The La Carte card is just the card you add tickets to. Unless you add tickets it doesn’t actually get you anywhere. It replaced single use paper tickets. Does that answer your question?

    What's inside the tacos de canasta? The salsa looks so good too! I loved the little animated walking traffic signal, that was so cute. If you only had one afternoon in Mexico City, which one would you pick?

    • @AnyoneCanTravel
      @AnyoneCanTravel Před 8 dny

      For the tacos de canasta you can pick between potato (my favorite), beans, chicharon (pork rinds) or get a mix of the three. One afternoon in all of Mexico City. That is hard. I would say see the Templo mayor ruins from the walkway then the cathedral and zocalo from outside. Walk down madero street to Bellas Artes and go to Cafe Don Porfirio. If you had the morning too I’d say go to the National Anthropology Museum and then the Centro Historico in the afternoon.

    Great and helpful. I would like to ask about Tickets Azur (2,50EUR) necesary if you are going for example to Monaco or Saint-Paul-de-Vence. I have read that it can be bought from the driver or at any tram stop ticket machine. Do I need another card for Tickets Azur or they can be added to La Carte with Solo Tickets (1,7 EUR). Can multiple people use the same card like in case of Solo tickets?

    • @AnyoneCanTravel
      @AnyoneCanTravel Před 9 dny

      Hi! Thank you 😊 I personally haven’t used the Ticket Azur, but it sounds like you do not need the La Carte card. We have always just taken the train. You can buy from a driver or a machine on the way to Monaco and it’s recommended to buy from a machine on the way out so you can board quickly and get a seat on the right for the best view during the ride. On the way back you can only purchase from the driver. I hope this helps!

      The Gran Hotel has a great terrace restaurant. It’s a buffet on weekends and mornings so it can be pricier but lunch is a la carte and relatively affordable. It’s worth popping in to see the stunning stained glass ceiling anyway. La Casa de Tono is another local favorite where you can try a variety of different Mexican dishes but they’re especially known for their pozole. We prefer the location near Bellas Artes over the one on Madero Street. El Moro is a churro place that we love too! There’s a lot of good food in Mexico City 😅

If you want to stay more than one day in Nerja especially if it’s the summer when you can spend more time exploring the beaches and doing water activities than we did in December I’d stay in Nerja. Malaga does have more to do though so it is easy to spend more than one day there as well. I would probably stay a couple days in Malaga and a couple days in Nerja if we had the time. Sorry that probably doesn’t help 😅

      Hi! You can take the bus to and from Eze and getting farther than that is possible but it is easier by train. Also even if you took the bus I don’t believe you would be able to return with the pass since you aren’t in Nice anymore. You can buy the 10€ airport ticket to get to the Nice Center or take the tram for free to Gran Arenas and then get off and purchase your ticket or pass to save money. It became popular from social media and thousands of people were visiting a day and starting to damage the ecosystem. Protections like this can be frustrating but it’s worth it to make sure the area is around for the future. We brought our own umbrella and if we’re smart would have brought our own food. They don’t charge to enter the beach so I think it’s pretty fair. Most protected areas like national parks and state parks in the US charge for entry.

    How is the weather in mid April? Is it warm already? Can we swim at the beach?

    • @AnyoneCanTravel

      The average temperature is usually 55 to 60 and the water is probably pretty cold. April can also be pretty rainy. We visited early May once and did swim a bit, but I wouldn’t plan entire days around the beach. Plan on visiting different villages and if you’re warm enough after exploring the village hop in the water to cool off after walking 😊

    I love the architecture! Looks like a nice chill town! What was the primary language in that area?

      They primarily speak Dutch but English is widely spoken too! It was a really nice chill city for sure.

    Wow!.. It sounds like a genius came up with this system which leaves the rest of us confused. Last time in Nice we were asked by the "locals" how to use the **&* machines and now it sounds even more complicated. We are returning in September, so we will use your info. Thanks!

    It's so pretty! I don't know if it's the music or cinematography, or both, but this just felt so relaxing. I would love to visit the market!

    Be careful the trio between Grand Arenas and Terminal 1 is not free.

      The Nice airport website says it is: Free connection Terminal 2 <> Terminal 1 <> Grand Arénas (Nice Saint-Augustin Airport SNCF station). www.nice.aeroport.fr/en/directions/public-transport Did someone say something to you when you were on the tram?
