Villefranche sur Mer and Nice by bus | Nice France Travel Vlog 2024

There is so much more to Nice than just the popular tourist sites in Old Nice. For just a couple euros you can take the bus to see sites like the Saint Nicholas Cathedral, Cimiez Monastery, and the beautiful village of Villefranche-sur-Mer. Villefranche-sur-mer makes the perfect day trip from Nice and can cost as little as 1 euro to get there by bus.

Ah!! The famous French style taco!! How was it? Villefranche sur Mer looks amazing! You said it was farther from the tourist area, were you able to get by with English? Or Spanish?

It was good! But I am a fan of kebab even though it’s kind of funny they call it a taco.
The monastery is off the beaten path a bit but we didn’t actually talk to anyone since everything was free we did in the area. Villefranche-sur-Mer is pretty touristy and we were able to order our gelato in English 😊

Nice is really close to Italy and while Italy technically didn’t exist back then it was part of the house of Savoy before it became part of France in 1860.
