What a pile of…. soot. The main thing is that spraying this staff to air intake has nothing to do with EGR cleaning. Simply because EGR is sucking gas from the exhaust hence all the soot. It is the same as treating the haemorrhoid by applying ‘Anusol ointment’ to your throat. Try to spray it in to hose that connects valve to the exhaust pipe.

can you take the plastic cover off the connector to get to the pins? mines broke right near the pin so need to somehow get this out to then repair it.

Nice one ! Mine went into low power today in north west of Spain , I got back home ok about 140 kilometers under low power . I’d put money on it this is my problem , many thanks for explaining the job perfectly .

The best way to stay clear of dpf problems is to buy a petrol.

In Holts's own video there's no mention of shaking the can or ensuring the puncture is at 6 o'clock. If you come back to a flat tyre, how on earth are you supposed to find the puncture anyway?

Should have cleaned the engine bay first so as none of that dirt gets sucked in! You have to take the EGR Valve off the car and clean it manually. Wynns Lazy Man's Cleaner!

Seemed to do the trick on my 1.6 hdi Berlingo (07) but wouldn't start while flagging EGR codes, got it started on Easy Start, once running and up to temperature 🌡, followed the instructions on can, now starts easily and no engine warning lights 😊

Your main problem is you don't understand the skill of soldering which is necessary if your reviewing a soldering iron. Just a hot iron will not solder wires together even if they are tinned, as they require a constant flow of fluxed solder. With the thick wire moving around the heat is not being concentrated on the copper, and you can't use pliers to hold it, as this will act as a big heat sink and draw the heat away. My credentials are 60 years working with electronics.
