    Out of curiosity… at what point on the gauge is the fan supposed to kick in? Mine sits at about an 1/8th of the way up normally but in traffic can shoot to half way. I’ve not let it go beyond that yet but not sure if that’s ok or not. Cheers

      It did, the fan comes on now and temperature gauge doesn't go beyond half way.

      @@sAu54g3 a coolant change on one of these Minis?! It won't hurt to flush the system through with a hose pipe once the old coolant has been dropped. Do it both ways of until water is clear. When refilling, I always fill the radiator at the top hose first as they can be a pain to bled otherwise. Once this is done fill the reservoir as normal. There is a bleed screw in the top radiator hose as well that you can unscrew until coolant comes out. Make sure the air comes out hot inside the vehicle. This way you know the heater matrix has coolant flowing through it. Hope this helps.
