I recently re-watched the series, I have a question that I think leads to a plot hole. In the last episode of the first season Velma explains how Pericles found the piece under the church thanks to the other 5 pieces, but how could the parrot have them all, if we then see that for example one piece had remained with the Darrow family and the others are scattered for all of Crystal Cove? Maybe after the agreement with the mayor they missing all their pieces?

Just like with "toxic masculinity" or "mansplaining," it's not that I don't understand what it means; it's that it's neither profound nor interesting to describe anything as such, just like with "film bro." I can't say I know any real life film bros. But when I first heard the term and what it was about it reminded me of somone - myself. My 13 yo, I'm a big boy now, and thus only watching the manliest man movies, because they are so cool, and really deep, and Tyler Durden has awesome abs bro, for I was sophisticated like that. The movies I loved at the time are pretty much a perfect fit for the film bro canon (well the ones that were released back than, so no Wolf of Wallstreet or Joker on my list, but you get the idea). In truth I didn't really get any of the movies back than - they were just cool and helped me pretend to be mature. I still love most of 'em, but I can't stop laughing about my younger self. That's why I love the term film bro with a great deal of Schadenfreude. There actually are adults who still havn't outgrown the mindset of a 13 yo moron playing make believe sophistication. PS: I would like to add that the toxic towards women part didn't really apply to me back than. At worst I would simply have disregarded a film as a "chick flick" and thus not for me, without putting any effort in to smear it. While this was pretty ignorant of me, I didn't really miss out though. I still watched 'em "chick flicks" in private - just to see what their about, I told myself - and just didn't bring 'em up in conversation. Yeah, that period was so cringe....

Kind of a douchie guy who thinks he is above others because he enthusiastically enjoys male-centered, mainstream movies made by directors like Tarantino. The Tik Tok trend you mention, where people instead use the word film bro to talk about guys who watch obscure foreign films, sounds more like the cultural concept of a "film snob". A "film snob" is similar to an "art snob". Its a contrarian who hates popular forms of media and views themselves as superior or "high class" because they exclusively enjoy more niche, arthouse-type works. A guy who hates realistic paintings, loves Jackson Pollock, and thinks himself a cultured intellectual because of his tastes is an "art snob". A guy who hates the MCU, loves German expressionist film and looks down on the "sheep" who like pop culture movies would be a "film snob". Like with the term "film bro", there aren't that many people who perfectly fit as the archetypical example of this trope. Like all cultural categories, this is more of generalization of a certain type of behavior rather than a common, real type of person you are likely to find. Ultimately, both "film bro" and "film snobs" are only really an issue because they involve people thinking they are superior to the general populace because of their tastes in media. So long as you don't actively and uncritically enjoy overly bigoted media (like Triumph of the will or Birth of a Nation) I think people can watch whatever they want. Generally speaking, genres of media you enjoy are simply a matter of personal taste rather than an assessment of your intellect or value. There are plenty of good "low brow" movies, plenty of good " high brow" movies and plenty of good pop culture movies.

_My Adventures with Superman_ is the first time I cared about Clark Kent/Superman. Normally he and the other characters just exist to make adventures happen, which are usually more interesting than the characters in them or whatever's going on in their lives. Where was that endearing portrayal all this time? He is the equivalent of a proper portrayal of Superman's personality and character, as Lily James is to Cinderella.

I started to watch the 1st season. Ended up getting locked up halfway thru the 1st season. Than later on in life I started it over. I finished the 1st s. Amazing story n acting. Than I watched like 4 episodes of the 2nd season. Than it got to dumb. Like couldn't keep track of any of the story. So I stopped watching it .

I watched this after watching your Heroes video. And the focus on character makes such a difference. I liked both shows a lot (up to a point). But Lost affected the world a bit, and the characters are beloved; with Heroes I barely remember anything aside from a general idea of the main characters.

I just saw this show because of Hayden Panettiere and Ali Latter (after watching her on Final Destination 1 & 2)

I mean the email that “Terrisa” sent in the epilogue of Fever Code could have been faked. Eva Paige already faked Thomas’s email prior in the book and it would make sense for her to to fake Terrisas email too. It’s possible that Terrisa really didn’t have her memories or at least not all of them during the trilogy and was betrayed by wicked like Thomas was. My personal headcannon is that she does not have her memories or at the very least, only has memories that wicked gave her
