First Impressions Of Livingstone, Zambia// Not What I Expected.
We slept at an Airbnb for one night in Livingstone Zambia. We then headed to the town centre to buy some food and drive round to have a feel of the local area.

I travelled with my family from Kariba to Zambia crossing the Kariba Dam Wall. We drove through Zambia’s treacherous roads where unfortunately many accidents do happen. We also chatted to locals as we drove through the villages of Zambia which was a nice experience. I hope you all enjoy today’s video.

I stayed at Samanyanga Resort in Kariba, Zimbabwe in April 2024. If you visit Kariba i highly recommend the place. The one thing which was not so great was WIFi but that seems to be an issue in some of the places i visited in Zimbabwe. Please feel free to visit them on the website

I stayed at a backpackers lodge in Avondale, Zimbabwe. It was a unique and enriching experience that goes beyond just finding a place to sleep. I then took my relatives to eat breakfast at the 5 star Rainbow Towers as i enjoyed it last time i stayed. We went on a road trip from my home town of Kariba to the Cpital City Harare. The road trip took us about 6 hours due to poor road conditions mostly from Makuti to Chinhoyi and we also stopped for some comfort breaks. All in all it was an amazing adventure as i got to meet lovely people ad exeperience the beutiful landscapes and scenery that our country offers in abaundance.

Roads are bad yhoooooo! I expect main roads especially to a tourist destination to be in good nick, but eishhhhhhh😢
Unfortunately, yes some of our roads are so bad and even dangerous. The good thing is they are now rehabilitated the roads and that will improve our tourism because our country is beautiful❤️

Back there, many moons ago I visited Kariba on school trip but it’s just vague memories now. Think we stayed at a school…….Nyamhunga! But I won’t forget how hot it was yhooooooooo🥵🥵🥵🥵 So now in my sunset years, I must make the pilgrimage visit once more!! And therefore, thank you my Bedfordshire sister for rekindling that memory! I’ll definitely visit Kariba by his Grace🙏🙏🙏
Good memories right here Munesu. I and glad I have managed to bring those memories through the videos. The heat ofcourse can’t be ignored that’s why I am so happy that technology has made it possible for improved air conditioning for those who can afford it and most lodges and hotels luckily have these installed to make it comfortable for guests. Unfortunately for most local people this is luxury at present. I keep praying and hoping that things will improve in our country so that basic and necessities are available for our people.

Yes, most of the times we live in harmony with wild animals in our home town but unfortunately occasionally we have sad stories of people getting hurt or even causing fatal accidents. Mostly elephants can be a nuisance to humans at times. But at the end of the day it’s a national park area.

You should visit for sure and the dark cave is not that bad even I was not sure but when I went inside it was not that bad. Please remember to wear comfortable and suitable footwear like trainers coz that was one mistake I do going in my sandals❤️

I can imagine the fear of seeing cows because of the elephants in Kariba you were used to running away from,good memories,United bus lol.The trucks eish during the night is a nightmare for real.
