Wowww this works!!!!!
Please help!!! I just found your video AFTER I cleaned my upholstered bed with hydrogen peroxide, lil dawn & baking soda. I went back over it w my hand steam cleaner w only distilled water. I sprayed back over it using a water bottle with one part white vinegar & 2 parts distilled water. There’s kinda yellow spots here and there on the fabric now. What should I do now to get those out???
Bilgi için teşekkürler.
Thank you for this great video- question I’m looking to do an overall refresh on my covers- general discoloration in the seated area- if the upholstery covers are removable - would you recommend a simple gentle soak (with hand wash soap) and rinse? spin?
What clear and dark wax/color do you recommend with Beyond Paint?
Excellent.
does it make a difference with the type of fabric?
Can you tell me what type of wood and/or veneer this is? Thx!
Can I use this method for car upholstery?
is using spray paint like Krylon a good choice?
Drying time pls snd can i dry with hair dryer
Excellent thank you for this easy tutorial.
Do you think this will work for lint fabric sectional ivory colored? Thank you!
Carne seca is literally just beef jerky
My gutted player piano was painted 50 years ago. Time to change the color, thanks for the demo and tips. 😊
Hello, my mom has a power lift recliner and Coke Zero or sugar free tea was spilled all over the arm and I thought the best idea to clean it was a immediately putting a saturated paper towel with water and made it ten times worse. There is a huge several inch wide water spot circle thing across like two feet down the whole arm and across the sides and a couple other spots all water spotted. It’s a weird smooth fabric that got wet but I couldn’t get it to try by blotting at all. I think I changed the texture of the arm. It’s nearly new but no warranty. Now I found out the code is S. I called the company and they were zero help and couldn’t tell me what to do. I feel so bad about it! So it is saying no water for code S, but they couldn’t tell me any cleaner to use and I already put water on it. 😢 I live out of state and already left but I need to know what to get so I can go down and try to fix it next week.
😊
How do you know what depth to set the kreg hinge jig to for the type of hinges you are using?
Thank you. I’m moving and my husband wants to keep his favorite couch. I didn’t want it because it’s filthy. I look forward to cleaning it now and make it look brand new!!!!❤ I’m very grateful!
Thank you! I have a dresser and nightstand that I want to paint.
Thank you very much for your video. I now have a plan of attack for a piece I'm working on.
Loved the vid, it was very helpful. Do you have one on how your hung the door to the book case?
You deserve 10 stars!!! that trimmer I didn't even knows exist, it will improve a lot the carpet and upholstery company that I'm opening!!! thank you!!
Will the patched areas flash through the paint ?
Most tracks are grooved so it would prevent the drawer from falling forward. Do you have any suggestions on how to prevent that? I've been trying to find wood tracks that have that but having a difficult time trying to get the right size for my vintage drawers. The old tracks are wider than most newer ones.
Could you tell me about how much the card stock was. I dont gace card stock haha
How much of an inset it made the plywood I guess is a better question
Do you still recommend the vinegar mixture on tufted sofas? Awhile back, I used vinegar on my couch (albeit not diluted very much) and it had a reaction with the metal in the buttons, which discoloured the fabric on them.
Great vid, good tips, thank you ❤
This is a great advice - glad to see this old advice still being passed around. I have done my furniture and rugs this way for many years, and the Clorox 2 is great; in the old days I used something they don't make anymore because it is super toxic - Clorox 2 is better. The key is the rinse in the end, that soda (carbonated) water and vinegar at the end and dry absorbent (cotton) rags at the end to do the final clean up with. Super important.
Fucking gorgeous woman. Wow😮
Nice hair color!
This has saved me!!! I’m telling you people, This Works!🎉 I had my white couch in storage and the movers did not cover it properly. One side was exposed and got really dirty. I saw this video and followed the instructions, and never looked back. Forever grateful ❤❤❤❤
What’s your best wood filler!
Rachel- Great video. thank you! Was wondering of you have a back up for Clorox free and clear. Tough to find the small size locally or even on line. Thx!
Hey, great video. Thank you! I'm curious about your channel(s) for selling the stuff you restore. Have you made a video about selling already? :) Best wishes, Dave Ferreira
This is a great tip!!! Can I use the first option to clean polyurethane fabric? I have a chair that looks pretty bad😢
Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included czcams.com/users/postUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.
Hi! My care instructions on my bed says “dry clean only” can I still use your method?
Thank you. Just got some beautiful used cream colored sofa and chair and can’t wait to try it🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Awesome video but the sparkling water loses its sparkle when sprayed through that bottle, just to let ya know
A lint trimmer!!! What!! Who knew, definitely going to look for one of those.❤
Why didn't she show the chair she did first I could see some stains on and I would like to know if they came up
wow cool... i wonder how they did those things in the 19th century...
Do you need to apply top coat to protect it from scratch?
I have a very light beige plush sectional couch can you please show how to do this on a large sectional
Wondering if this will work on car fabric upholster. I have a Camry with tan cloth interior, and it's a mess, no matter how HARD I've tried to keep it clean. :(
Could you do this with corduroy? My arm chairs are slip covered with corduroy and the label says not to wash them. They really need a cleaning, but I don't want to ruin the fabric.
I was so happy to find your video yesterday. I did the upholstery in my chair. My car is a 2012 and now the upholstery looks brand new. Thank you so much. Your video was sooo helpful. Attempting to clean a beautiful old fashioned couch today. You are an inspiration! Thank you for posting your video. Cheers, Francine from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia Canada
Who is at Home Depot marketing throwing away money like this? What did they get in return for the 3k worth of stuff? 200views on YT? White privilege at it's finest IMO. Not your fault, you did great a job! My criticism is about home depot and throwing money away.
