Most of our yard is flood irrigated, so I struggle with what to plant. I have things like stonefruits, but I struggle with tropicals and smaller understory plants.

I live in Florida and I have all sand so my test is very easy

How do you manage squirrels and birds? They ate most of our fruit from our trees last year.

My son has a very young peach tree, it has very few leaves on it and it had one small peach on it when he brought it but like I said it has very few leaves on it but it's the stem is real tall or the tree is real tall so I'm trying to figure out what can he do to get it to produce leaves so that peaches can grow can you help me?

Loved this video! I have a small, mature magnolia tree (about 11 years old) which I took out of ground and had in a pot for a long time until last spring (I think) when I dug a hole and placed it in my yard where it could get enough sun. It's not doing well. Leaves are yellowing, I've been careful about over-watering. New growth appears to be burgeoning from the main trunk, but branches are thin and spindly. I recently gave it water and liquid food, but am not sure if it helped. I think it needs serious pruning, but it's trying to flower at present, so I don't wanna deter that process. I wanna get this sweet little tree healthy. Any suggestions??

I’m in 10b and your garden looks a month ahead of mine. That cluster of carbon looks massive. I’m getting a lot of flowers but not much fruit with a lower and lean setup. They just grow and grow but not many clusters.

Looks great check crop before biting i them bad spots spiders inside.

Love your raised bed garden. I have a block wall 11' in from my sideways I'd like to do a Raised bed & thinking of using 14" Cor-Ten steel to make it level. Any reason not to go that route & use redwood instead? Would I need drainage holes when it down pours here in St George, Utah? Thanks

Love your content. I’m looking to start a small orchard in my front yard next season and fell in love with two trees you share with us. I know the striped fig is from your previous garden but I am just dying to grow it in mine and you sold us on the lemon guava. Do you think green acres would have those available and during what time of year do they sell them.

I’m in Southern California in the IE area, question I just planted a mango tree and it bloomed but soon after the blooming started to dried out 😢 the leaves seem healthy and even with new grows. I’m overwatering? Or under watering or it needs fertilizer? I installed a dripping around the bottom the only thing I haven’t done is fertilizer.

Use your local extension office for free soil, sod and plant analysis. Our tax dollars pay for it. There are also master gardeners and extension agents who will answer questions, and some will come to your property and help you with problems.

Over grown okra we keep for next season seeds .. . Let them dry on plant itself ..u can make your own seeds . Everytime u don't have to spend money for seeds ..
