I got this after watching your video. If you only have to take one drive to your gig, this is it! I actually prefer the pre gain to my tube screamer! There doesn't seam to be that clean blend thing! Great demo, great pedal!

I have chance of one of these locally but it’s the model with Bare Knuckle pups… I can’t find any sound demos for it …

I bought one when they came out - it's a fun pedal! I found that it worked magic for me when I played my 1957 Hofner Club 60 through it with the 'mach schau' on. It's a sound I've tried to get for some time and this just nailed it. It does good things for both Les Paul & Strat. I grabbed the poster of Klaus' artwork - nice! A year or so later I bought the Victory 'Copper V4 Pre-Amp Pedal- which actually comes with valves inside - their Vox 30 soundalike. It's a lot more sophisticated - happy to have both, they do different jobs. Great demo, as usual!

Every time I see a review for Artist guitars it’s an Artist guitar being played with heavy effects and probably post production in some cases. Now we get a review for an Artist amp and he plays a Gibson and Fender.

Great Tones and playing as always. But something curious happened, I downloaded the preset and nothing matches your scenes from your video Scene 1 is on scene 8, scene 2 is on scene 1 and it has an SD1 drive. etc etc etc. very curious indeed. Maybe downloading a preset from Australia to a Canadian AXE FX III makes them go topsy turvy !!! LOL

You are right about Mick’s video on the subject of how to float a Fender Strat style bridge, I myself have learned some tricks from that. I need to watch the other video on bolt-on necks that you mentioned. That EJ Strat sounds amazing, but as they say, the real sound is in the hands of the player, and you are doing a mighty fine job indeed. Cheers from the land of bolt-on necks ! 🇺🇸🎸👍

After being exclusively a strat player for the first 20 or so years of my electric guitar playing, I now haven't owned one for about 15 years. I'd probably look for an EJ were I to dive back in to strat world.

You've done a great job on the trem, well done. I've always preferred a Fender trem to a Floyd Rose, sounds so much fuller. And they can be made to stay in tune very well with just a little bit of effort.

A tour de force of phenomenal and distinctive tones. I know it's more fun to have more stuff, but you could rule the world with just that guitar and sell all your others. If you can't get it done with that Strat, does it really need doing? Thanks for the great video.

I set my Suhr SSS to Float and I absolutely love it. It has the Phenomenal Gotoh 510 trem-system for incredible tuning stability. I have Lollar Dirty Blonde pickups and stainless steel frets with Gotoh locking tuners. I use the Carl Verheyen wammy set-up trick too. Fantastic guitar sounds Brett . . . (particularly @ 6:06) Wow.

I feel like the EJ has a little more bite, punch in her. Def more of a tradional strat sound. Where as the Cutlass was more polished, glassy. imho. The EJ is definitely more you.
