Robert and Aaron from Keeley asked me to make a single demo featuring their new California Girls Twelve String Simulator and I Get Around Rotary Simulator which you'll find on this channel (go to: • Keeley: I GET AROUND R... ), but I felt that each pedal needed a dedicated look, so I've made separate demos for each. And this is the "I Get Around" demo! If you look past the Beach Boys refs and all the hype that will no doubt surround these pedals, I believe you'll find one of the best rotary sim pedals ever to appear on the market. It's an absolute swirl machine with all of the right cutoff frequencies, brake speeds and other cool stuff. Love it. Nice one, Robert!

that's very cool. Always enjoy using a Leslie speaker, and if room didn't allow then a tremolo pedal. This seems interesting; could be worth more research --rock on !

I'm a rotary pedal junkie and have most of the top rated ones. I would STILL be interested in picking up one of these though.

@rodolpheponthus2948 My top three are probably the Neo Ventilator II, the Pigtronix Rototron and the Korg G4, with first place going to the Ventilator II.
I’ve been using rotary pedals for many years. This is the best one yet. It’s great!
My wife has a Ventilator II for her clonewheel organ and it sounds great, but it’s better used on an organ than a guitar.

Have been through several Rotary pedals over the past few years, and have settled for now on the Neo Mini Vent. This sounds great, though! Unfortunately, there seems to be a $300 entry fee for any kind of decent rotary pedal.
When you turn the pedal off while on the fast setting and turn it back on, does it stay on the fast setting or default to slow?
Have you ever tried the H&K Rotosphere? Does this compare?
I had one for years, really never would fool you into thinking it's a real leslie. This is better for sure.

At $299 it’s got some serious competition. Still, very tempting.

I liked it on the slower settings. With that mid-boost i would use it in the 'wet' side of a wet/dry rig to keep the throb but preserve as much of my original sound as possible.
I liked the 12 string better, but this is good!!
Pulsing isn't even close to a real two amp and cabinet rotary, which still isn't a Leslie Rotary speaker.. Sorry... Sounds horrible to me. Frampton is the measuring stick. Lines on my face! Not even close.
Is there a pedal on the market you find more convincing? Serious question. ✌
Electro harmonix makes a very convincing lesley simulator.😊

@@KP11520 I've heard good things about the RT20 and I'm pretty sure I know someone who uses it live. In fairness, regarding your OP, Leslie sims are hard to do properly. The 'Vent' is probably the best I've heard but even then it can't compete with a Leslie. It's like the digital Echorec or Space Echo pedals, they sound really good until you put them up against the real thing. I actually quite liked the sound of the Keeley, not as a rotary sim but just as a pedal to use in certain environments. It's a bit expensive given that my TC Electronic Vibraclone runs it pretty close (It doesn't 'ramp' though) and I might only use it for the occasional song.
