      i have a j ultra like in the video and it’s not hard at all. if you are doing more than 3 shots back to back maybe, but otherwise it’s just a moderate level of resistance.

    I was a filter coffee only man but recently got into espresso and im loving it more and more. Got the red click upgrade for the c40 and flair neo flex + pressure gauge add on and pulled some really good shots but takes a while to make tho haha. As for local shops i strictly buy from my go to local roaster and rarely buy from other roasters. I dont buy from international reknowned roasters as the shipping is way too much imo

      Couldn't agree more! Good Brothers is great and you should definitely give them a try! Also I bought it on Amazon for both the saucer and cup it was $50.

      Pretty much 2 times a day since August of 2023. I have a manual grinder I got about a month ago and only use it for light/medium light roasts and this for medium dark and dark roasts. Cheers.

      This is just a Neapolitan blend cuz in Napoli they traditional use a blend of 80% arabica beans and 20% robusta and that’s what this blend uses.

      It’s a blend I believe and I think some of the blend features Ethiopian beans I’m not sure what else is in here tho.

    I heard that afterwards there is a lot of water retention in the portafilter whixh can make things messy. Especially messy when doing this on a plane. I specifically want espress for flying so i am trying to find the best option for that

      It’s true that I usually find about 1/6 of the water I put into the chamber not be used for the total brew cycle but I don’t find it to be an issue because you are using like 100ml of water to brew like 8-9g of coffee which is an extremely high ratio. I would recommend this product for sure for espresso as travel but it’s never gonna be as good as a home espresso machine unfortunately.

    I like my espresso to be very acidic. I only drink light roast. I can’t handle any bitterness in my coffee.

      I honestly like both. For pour overs, they just aren’t as strong. I like espresso light or dark because it’s a strong punch of flavor. Pour over is a lot more subtle.

    Hi, I have Gaggia Classic too from 2019. It's inconsistent due t having no PID, and it needs constant priming. I might get MiiCoffee Apex soon, and I have a Eureka Mignon Manuale which I love so much. Great video!

      Gaggia isn’t bad but it’s just not great unfortunately due to the no PID. I think if you can wire it yourself it’s worth just upgrading it but if not, sell it and buy something better like you stated! Cheers!

      It would be a mixture of a classic dark roast like dark chocolate and roasty with a balancing citrus and fermented flavor since it’s naturally processed. It also has that heavy mouth feel that dark roasts have. It’s everything I love about dark roasts and Ethiopian beans in one delicious coffee.

      I’m not worried about the bars as much, I’m more so worried about the extraction and after tasting it if I went slightly finer I think the flavor would of been a little more full but it was a good shot regardless

      It’s really delicious and in my experience I enjoyed it more as espresso than pour over but I think it’s just I like intense flavors more and pour overs are lighter. Cheers!

    I drink this in my espresso machine. But I do a 1-2.5,1-3 ratios for it. 20 in and 50-60grams out in 28-32 seconds and it comes out amazing. I drink pretty exclusively light to light medium roast. That’s as dark as I can drink coffee.

      i like more of the intense flavors so im still a 1:2 guy for this because its surprisingly light and not nearly as acidic as other light roasts. so usually i like more of a 1:2.5 aswell for light roasts, this happened to be great at 1:2 for me! glad you are enjoying it as well!

My guess is that Turin (Espresso Outlets house brand and really the only thing they almost ever have in stock) is trying to capitalize on the recent success of the DF64 grinder. And all these CZcamsr's are, shock, probably bought and paid for?

      Pro tip, start the grinder before adding beans and pour them a little slow

      No with the fellow canisters you have to turn the top on back and forth until the lid pops and it takes usually about 10 seconds. This helps keep the beans fresher for longer and the whole point of the canister in the first place!

    I find that this coffe does best for me at a 1-2.5 1-3 ratio. I do 20 grams and go for 50-53 grams out in 28-32 seconds. Also try it as a americano and it brings out more peach. It’s pretty crazy.

      yeah i deff enjoyed a higher ratio usually 20 in and 45 out. with roasts like this that are light/medium-light, i enjoy about the same. but for darker roasts i enjoy like 19.5 in and about 35-40 out. the thicker body and mouthfeel is important for me.

      @@GuccioSaltarellii have a built in grinder (sage barista touch), thinking of getting a new grinder.. (in Europe).. eureka mignon lineup maybe. Alternatively there is this solution, how do you use them now? Electric or manual ? Both ? A manual grinder would be able to store it, cheaper than a eureka, but takes more effort. I think I’m a dark roar kind of a person, have been able to dail in fresh beans yet :(

      @@zwich I use my manual grinder for lighter roasts because my electric grinder doesn’t do a great job with it. The grinders are around the same price but the quality of the manual grinder is much higher but not nearly as convenient. I think my electric grinder is great for dark roasts and good for medium roasts but not good for lighter roasts or medium light. Hope this helps!
