This is happening to us too - a new very $$$$$ bathroom with floors that no longer warm. The first sensor lasted about a month - 2de sensor - about the same. Then error code… To this day, it’s not a breeze… we’ve been waiting to hear back from a representative for months… no real solution so far! i’m pretty disappointed at this point - still waiting from a response from Schluter to my last email :(

Does the schluter warranty cover all the labour and materials in fixing this problem?

Seriously? You titled this an installation video? Joke!

Usually, I document where the sensor is placed with photos or I map its location during the installation. You can just remove the tile where the sensor is located and cut it there, and solder it. It worked perfect every time. Three times so far failed sensors. Weird problems.

Make sure you take pictures and measurements after you install the wire, to make any repairs much easier!

It's expensive to live here because of all the drifters moving here. I meet so many people who don't have family moving here and then move back because its too expensive to live here. You can't get an apartment unless you make 3x the rent, property taxes are 11k. Mortgage rate is like 4k a month. If you listen to this person and you don't make enough, you will lose thousands of dollars quickly. The jobs out here don't pay enough to make a living. So be smart and don't move to Texas. 10 years ago it was fine to move here, now its to late. I am trying to help people from making a big financial mistake. 💯

I drove through a track home neighborhood today being built. My wife’s friend is moving there. It was disgusting. Why would they move there? Her husband has terminal and easy for her to live there.

They literally wrap them in cardboard, totally insane!

This happened with mine. Has an E4 code. Didn’t last long before this happened. Not happy. Been years since it stopped working and I just let it be wondering why it didn’t work. My baseboard is 7” with a mounding on top in a corner. Tearing this all up will not be fun after I spent so much time to do this. Oh well, thanks so much for the video.

Sadly, most of those homes are being built so poorly with the cheapest materials. You can see the card board sheathing that’ll rot within 5-10 years.

Thank you for sharing the video. We have floor heating in our shower and it was working fine for about 2 months. Now the temp reads 72 and it shows that it is trying to heat to 82 but the floor is not heating. If the shower is on the temp reading does go up assuming from the warm water but it goes right back down afterwards. Could it be a faulty sensor or is there another reason why the heating cables are not triggering?

It's so, so painfully white but with a big drug use --- don't be fooled. So called rich kids are indeed crack heads too
