That plastic is polypropylene, and almost no adhesive with form a reliable bond with it, even glues specifically intended for plastics. However, there is one kind of glue that works extremely well, and it is readily available - standard hot glue sticks. The low-temp or dual-temp glues may work too, but I have not personally tried them.

My dream n64 pad is as follows: place the stick on the left , along with the dpad, as with any other modern pad. Keep the original form factor, it has a nice unique feel, just ditch the middle handle, which, though unique, only serves to create a confining environment. Also, a gamecube style stick for comfort.

The one thing you don't want to do is have a video game box that can hold different type of video game cartridge for different consoles it's not artistic enough I mean how you supposed to display that and then the cover of that box are you supposed to split it between the two different video games from different consoles or device? You see that makes no sense whatsoever one box one game one art that's it that's how it has to be no matter what otherwise what kind of collector are you?

Anyone have any issues with the SNES cases? Every one I own the 4 clips dont always clip around the cartridge, There is always one or 2 hanging off and it isnt snug in the holder. the clips that arent secure also tend to get stuck in the crack of the 2 halves of the cartridge

definetely a great idea. i've said we need to bring cartidges back for a new game console and i'm going to design one. though i'm a costume designer i have great respects for old school even though my genertion was xbox 360 and PS2. i've decided to design a concept of a modernized catridge game with all the modern sandards and my own design features. but this definetely gives me ideas on how to make the games more displayable for players.

It really isn't accurate to say that GAF began to make more kids Viewmasters. Sawyers had already begun to focus on TV shows and cartoons. GAF just continued that. And GAF continued to make "adult" reel sets and did even after Mattel bough them near the turn of the Century, so you are wrong that GAF turned it into a toy. GAF's real screwup was changing from Kodachrome to films that didn't even last a decade without losing color. There are 1939 reals that look as good as the day they were made whereas there are 70s and 80s GAF reels that were unviewable in less than a decade.

I understand the fun and overall need for this kinda thing. I love making my collection the way I want. For example. While ps1 games came in jewel cases. I prefer organizing my collection by console generation, earliest to the left. Size. Largest cases to the left. And alphabetical order. Ps1 games disrupted this as despite being before ps2. They were smaller than even ps4 cases and would go in front. But that broke my other organizational laws lol. So I found custom covers for DVD cases and printed them out. Making all my ps1 games DVD sized so they were the same size as ps2 games. Thankfully my ps1 collection was small and only my favorite games.

Do you think this could hold up to a 5 and 7 year old girl probably manhandling it a bit or are they really delicate? My nieces would love this and it’s creative, I’m more concerned on how durable they are. Thanks man

For me, game collecting isn't about purity but authenticity. Obviously, one's definition of authenticity is subjective, but the mini boxes truly are a great, authentic way of keeping the spirit alive, avoiding making less quality repros, and keeping the form factor low. I love it! I have made printed DS case covers for my GBA games, but it just doesn't feel right, the spines aren't authentic, they look like DS games, and it's nice to have some uniformity, but when it becomes too uniform, it loses what made each era unique.
