At certain times it will be necessary for me to figure out video types that I can make that are quicker and lower effort than what I typically produce. I need to know what kinds of videos you'd like to see me make or if they are worth your time. Comment your ideas and/or vote on listed ideas with the thumbs 👍👎.

State of my collection-live
Oh geez, I thought I had a crazy schedule. Hang in there brother, nothing wrong with gaps in uploads... story of my yt channel. Also nothing wrong with lots of different types of videos, God knows my channel is all over the place. Personal life is always first, yt comes in last for me so I totally understand. Anything you put out I'll watch

I hope things settle down for you. On the YT front, I’m not really looking for retro reviews or live streams or anything like that, but you do what you need to for the channel. I’d probably prefer seeing less fully-formed videos than your normal stuff, but still focused on crafts and displays. Maybe if you see something or someone that inspires you, you can tell us about your ideas in one video now, and make full tutorials down the road later if you have time.
Thank you so much for you suggestion! I wish I had more new ideas that I could make #shorts from, honestly. I had fun making the ones that I published back in the spring. But for full videos, I rather like keeping things a surprise until the video is fully ready. I like being pleasantly surprised and I hope you as a viewer enjoy when I've show something you've never seen or thought of before. That's my hope, anyway.

Obviously I'm here for any Topspot vids, but dropped the thumbs up on my preference. And love the idea of using Miis and XBL Avatars during a conversational vid like this, another classic TopSpot banger of an idea

I sincerely hope you just do whatever videos you'd like to make. Give the pre-recorded collection videos a shot to give yourself some leeway for a few months, and maybe pop on for a live stream if you're feeling energised. Best of luck pal!

Sorry to hear about all the crazy hours you're pulling. I can definitely relate to what you're going through. Content production is tough when the rest of the world has other plans.
As for the channel, I initially subscribed for the room ideas, but I've enjoyed your product reviews as well. I'm not a big watcher of livestream content but don't let that stop you if that's something you enjoy.

late here, but as a recent follower, i think anything would be fine by me. though, i think it would be interesting to see videos of the state of your collection, and lego build up videos would make for some nice videos to have in the background while working or chilling, even as a non-lego person. obviously, these are ideas, not commands. because again, if anything happens to be a topic you enjoy, i think it's very well worth trying to invest your time in it. maybe experiment with new ideas too, it's cool to mix things up sometimes. though i will say, i don't see a lot of youtubers care about the opinions, options and enjoyment of their viewers in the way you do, inside and outside of this update video, and i think that says a lot about your channel and you as a person. even if you're understandably going to miss this comment (since this is a 2021 video), i just wanted to say only hope to see this channel grow as much as your genuine passion for gaming. cheers

I like all your ideas except streaming, since I usually don't have the time and can't watch it live (quite different time zone in Germany). Stream highlights (vod edited down to the best moments) would be for me, but that's quite a lot of work I think. But don't underestimate the number of people who would love to see you stream something! Even if only 10 people watch it, you may get a lot of relaxation and comfort out of it.
I'd generally say: don't stress yourself, most subscriber won't mind if you skip a few months or do videos not typical for the channel. We can always decide to just not watch a video that doesn't fit our liking. Maybe you even find a format that brings you and us a ton of joy ;)
Thank you for the kindness. I know it's foolish to try to please everyone, but I don't want to let people down either. But so many people have been so encouraging here, it's been very nice and helps to lower my stress about the channel.
I'm mostly here for game room ideas, but during this difficult time I'd encourage you to upload whatever you most enjoy doing!

It is ok. Sometimes life gets in the way. This is why I plan and make videos one year ahead of time. Yes, right now I am recording and editing videos for 2023 right now.
I definitely wish I had a few 'in the can' for situations like this. I'm just starting to get caught up and I think I'll be able to do at least a couple videos to sit on until needed.
I wouldn't mind a few more Lists.
Maybe just to get to know you better. What are your favorite games on every system? If I had a youtube channel, I'd make a Top 30 NES games list, just so I could talk about games that I like. In the end, all I want to do is talk about stuff I like.
I feel for you on your situation. Once upon a time, I was so burnt out by work that I PAID a friend to read a book, just so I could talk to him about it, when I had time off.
I like the idea of favorite games per system. I have no problem making videos like that, but if I did, I'd generally be more comfortable releasing them on my second channel instead of here. I like to keep my videos here more broadly helpful and fact based and less personal opinion based, but in the future, who knows!
Paying a buddy to read a book, lol. That's awesome! It reminds me of a friend of mine. We have a pact that if either of us wins really big in a lottery, they will 'employ' the other person for 40 hours a week just to hang out and have fun.

I particularly like the way you make your projects and the way the videos are curated in detail. Personally, I don't like livestreams, but I get others do so I don't really mind skipping those every once in a while
I like livestreams just because I can chat with people in real time. With prerecorded, I'm just talking to myself. But, for some reason, livestreams just aren't as fun to watch after the fact, even if the subject matter is the same as prerecorded, lol! Thank you for sounding off.
