you're not a million miles away from some absolutely beautiful villages on the east coast in the Apulia region, Ostuni, Alberobello, Monopoly all are beautiful and that part of Italy is very good value for money, yea can't go wrong

The Cinque Terre rail card also covers La Spezia. We got a 3 day card, stayed in La Spezia and visited 2 villages each day using a combination of rail and hiking paths. We even managed a boat trip on our last day. Book in advance and take your time. It can be crowded, but, as you found out, so worth it.

Hi you two! I also follow an American couple Snow and Curt. They also visited the same place. I think they were there March or February. If I remember correctly they stayed in the Station Parking lot for about 10 or 20 euros a night. It’s only that month you can do so. If you have time check out their videos. They’re currently resetting their Schengen visa in Montenegro and Albania.

Good advice. We missed out when we tried to go in Jan (2018!) because of really bad weather so it’s still on our list.

We do the van life thing so we do watch others occasionally out of curiosity even though we don't vlog ourselves. To be honest it usually gets a little boring. Many claim to sell everything they own only to try to sell others junk via their channel . We came across your vlogs whilst on the road last year, this is real vanlife brutally honest. Well done!

Carcassonne is an amazing sight but it is a tourist trap inside. Some nice places along the south of France en route to Italy.

Ecuador has some extreme examples of the same thing. Many people still live there without electricity or running water in their homes.
