Our basically for private amusement made full season edit from close to 3 months and 76 days on snow in the alps, season 2022-23. One of the worst winters with very small snowfalls on a thin base. You would not perhaps believe it when looking at the video but our badly worn down bodies and destroyed boards tell the story. One of the driest winters in decades - but we got 80 of powder days anyways. In Livigno and Samnaun. Included are TV-broadcasts from the avalanche accident in Spiss/Samnaun.

We went to Samnaun since the forecast was for pretty large amounts of snow during 3 days of whiteout. Then sun. All this happened but also 5 dead in a big avalanche in the backcountry. 4 where swedes and we saw them leave so we became main objectives for swedish media för 36 hours.

We bought a RM1060 in Portimao. Sailed it to Nazare in March 2019 and in this video we continued from Nazare to Gothenburg, Sweden, where our home port is, during May to July 2019. We used easterly high pressure winds every morning to get to A Coruna in Spain, and then the back side of a front to pass bay of Biscay. Really nice! The right spot you use its the best for rappel? Or its also possible directly from the bars of the pasarell? Did you rappel 2 times 60m? Normally at what time its ok to look for good snow conditions? Thanks a lot
Hi Gabriel, There are several options for rappel anchors. I've seen people rappeling directly from the bars, as well as from the opposite side. However, in my opinion, this is the best anchor point both in terms of safety and accessibility. We did 4x45m in the video (top anchor, bolted at 2:04, bolted at 2:17, wires at 2:20). A few weeks later we repeated the run in much better conditions, doing a 2x45m rappel. Have a look at Skits missions episode 13 for that. Snow conditions? I can´t say, that's different every year.

Hi there, awesome yacht, i have been looking at these awhile, as to a bit more info on speed, so if shes laden with cruise gear with 2-4 people do you think she will plane easily or no? im wanting a boat for meditteranean and further afield, atlantic crossing type crossing type boat. Also to clarify are all the rm1060's twin bilge keel or was there option for a single fixed keel? Also the dinghy, will it fit under the boom upside down, im guessing you have a stand dinghy size from the looks of the video? And because of the twin furlers and self tacking track will prohibit it from fore of the mast on deck? Thanks!

What kind of speeds did you hit? Would love to see more performance shots in different wind and angles if possible? How do you like the yacht? I just discovered RM and very much like the concept. I am looking at the 1070 and the new 1180. Thank you!
Hi, the advantage of the RM-yachts is that they do not hit the normal 7-8 knots barrier but can cruise at 8-9 knots pretty easy. But to start planing you have to empty out all cruising equipment and start using colored sails at pretty high wind speeds.
@@JAndersB Thank you very much for the response. It's good to know they can plane if they are pushed. I am looking for a family cruiser that I can race when the need arises. Wonderful to know they cruise in the 8-9 knot range quite easily. That makes a huge difference in planning and range for day trips. They appear to have a nice motion, well made, and nice bright interiors. Cockpit looks comfortable, even for a "racer" cruiser. Thank you!
