More than satisfied with the tts in the end (especially since the client fails in this department). 🤣 I like your idea for next time, single perspective is honestly what I prefer (I think cimoo’s progression series has that correct). It’s still easy to cheer for either side without seeing both perspective imo! Excited to see more and I’m sure whatever decisions you guys make it will be great!

something about Soon and moon base set I remember is how consistent it was with Gx pokemon pull.. mmm in fact so consistent loaded pack where always found in the same.

Wow this is when we started to play. Umbreon gx first good pull. My son played with that, yveltal ex and the dark crocodile thing. Awesome.

You guys should definitely play the game on Pokemon Live! It’s more crisp and clear to see everything. But still keep your face came going!

Tabletop Simulator works better for this serie because of live forcing the no supporter turn 1 rule and that would not be period accurate

When playing on Tabletop Sim I usually use the mod called "Pokemon TCG with Real Boosters V2". It has a table with premade scripts (like easier energy attachment, switch, set up,...) making games much faster and smoother. I recommend you give it a look if you haven't already.

Loved the video! Definitely enjoyed the tabletop sim as it’s more interactive and added plenty of funny moments. When Jack said your card wasn’t sleeved and you said he was scratching the foiling I laughed out loud😂 looking forward to Guardians Rising!

This is such an exciting series, loved seeing the back and forth games! Tabletop Sim is bit of a downer but not the end of the world. I'd rather watch this series with it than not at all.

The only complaint atm is i hate its 2 seperate videos i perfer it all be in one episode making it easyer to remmember what was opened or to remmber the decklist each player has its more convienient for us the vieuwers instead of opening the video before

I honestly didn't mind the Tabletop Sim. Think it went well with the edits and added to the banter

in real time (without cuts) the game took ~90mins so let us know if you still enjoy following along with the cut-up turns! (I'm mostly just chopping out the thinking and general tabeltopsim navigation down time!) It's likely with how long this took to edit, in future eps we're going to "follow" one player's perspective each game (with double facecam throughout!) and then swap in game 2 As always, because it's a new series we're going to be experimenting and welcome any feedback you have!

Joe and Jack, this is a wonderful idea for a video. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for these videos as they release! Also I am a huge fan of the Fearow line. I recently played a kitchen table style game with a friend were we crafted decks using only Common rarity cards, and it turns out that Fearow is a common, as well as the Evolutionary Advantage Spearow from OBF... needless to say I wiped the field with turn 1 and 2 fearows! All of this is really just to say that its good to see content that isn't only focused on Standard (although your videos are world class in that department). Thank you for what both of you do!

So glad to see the progression series coming to Pokemon! I know you have said you might not want to make 1 big video per week, but I think it works well keeping it all in one place as a single package. I would also suggest trying to tighten up the analysis and deck building sections to be a bit more streamlined. It felt like towards the end you were repeating yourselves a bit too much/starting to labour the point a bit. But all round cracking work guys. Looking forward to seeing how this...progresses...

This is what I need in my life! Chip and Azul tried doing this with more recent sets, but as far as I know didn't continue it after the first couple of episodes. I really enjoy this kind of content. Thank you for doing this!! Also I'm unfamiliar with CubeKoga, how do you set this up?

I LOVE this idea for a series! I personally would prefer the battle to be part of the same video. Maybe the length would be more reasonable if you skip to the results of the pack opening and condense the deck breakdowns? Either way, great video, cant wait for the battle!

Maybe I've watched too much Rarran, but the intro sounded VERY much like Rarran. I love it.

HOWEVER

Stoked for the series and battle tomorrow! Not sure if playing on ptcgl will be a problem going forward but I bet that would continue a nice visual experience (especially for those not as familiar with all the cards like myself)! Although I know ptcgl has its own issue. 🤣 In any case, stoked for more, thanks!!!

I loved the Cimmo progression series, but always wondered how this would look in pokemon. I had no idea we had the resources to rip packs like they did. You guys struck gold with this one. What happened with PTCGlive that led you to tabletop? I assume the biggest thing would be the rule changes for cards like Lillie, Greens, and so on?

It's like a Pokemon progression series
