What oil cap is that?
VTT Oil Cap - helps release pressure in the crankcase.

No, didn't have to change anything to the tune. It's worth it for the long run imo.

What area are you in Virginia? I'm in Virginia Beach area. I too have a X5M. It's now my project vehicle since getting a Range Rover SVR. I always thought nothing could be better than the X5M, I was so wrong. I love the instant response of the Supercharger and it doesn't let up. The stock exhaust is crazy! I'll never buy another vehicle with Twin Turbos; they are twice the pain in the ass and cost. My SVR Supercharged 5.0L kicks my X5M ass. Don't get me wrong, I do still love my M. Only issue is it keeps asking for money, hence the "M".
Why does your Race mode stay on? Mines on to tell me launch control then goes right off after I launch?
Good catch! I'm not sure - this is how I have always used the launch control. I don't have to shift as long as I have it floored.
@@E70MGarage Mine works the same way. It’ll shift 1-2 for me I’m to scared to see if it’ll do 2-3 I always shift before it gets to 7k. Idk if it’s just my car but it seems to get real funny above that 6500rpm limiter the factory has set for the higher gears. My cars dinan tuned so it has that it’ll be above to shift a 7k through all gear just I don’t wanna hurt the car.
@@ti_totheger6063 I think it will continue to shift itself as long as you don't let off gas. You won't hurt the car, they're meant to be driven that way. Mine is funny when it comes to 1-2 shifting manually, no matter how quick I try to be it always hits the limiter and bogs down, so auto shifting in sport is always great lol
@@E70MGarage my launch control only activated in manual unless I’m crazy. I just launch in manual then quickly swap to D then sport again

Thanks - yes, they do. Additional wiring and FRM ensure all functions work.

What spec are you forgestars I have the. On my e92 m3 and want to put the. On my e70 x5m but I run a 325/30/21 on my rear and 295 /35/21 On the front I dont think they make them to this spec.

Nope, they unfortunately don't do 21 in f14. Only 20 and 22. Which is so stupid to me.
This is hooked up wrong. You have to put catch can in series meaning you cut the accordion style hose off and hook up catch can hoses in its place. That’s why you won’t get any oil in the cans.

Yeah, loud but not great. It's amazing how the cross-flow exhaust manifold kills the "V8" burble Also fun to see the two White X5, and how much better looking the E70 body is, specially the X5M. In my opinion its one of the best looking SUV's ever

Great info! Congrats on the 1k subs! On your F14 wheels what offset/backspacing did you go with. Also did you have to ask for the proper hub bore size?
Hey! Thanks! Fronts are 20x10.5 +40 Offset, and Rears are 20x11 +42 Offset. No, with these specs, the hub bore for the rear was 72.56mm by default.
I got mine in August I have kept it stock and have not had any issues besides oil changes and new tires, God willing, lol ! 😂❤

Lol not that much, but it's certainly driven like it's meant to be. Been doing small upgrades here and there.

ah.. the good old cold start, the only time the S63B44 engine sounds half decent.
I have re-used my reinforcement plate bolts multiple times, probably not a good idea :D
I have too 😂 but it's not a good idea. Bolts that have tightening torque and degrees specs are stretched or de-shaped - may appear to be the same to naked eye, but aren't.

Subscribed. Just bought a 2012 X5M. 102k miles . It’s in great condition sounds great and it’s fast but I have a ticking sound I hear from underneath. Don’t hear it when I’m driving, just idling. I know the injectors tick a lot on top but this don’t feel related. Would love for you to have a listen.

So to be specific, with my x5 when its idling or driving in very low speed blue smoke comes out however if I pick up speed the blue smoke stops. Can u please give advice
Either the PCV system or vacuum leaks, BMW engines are very finicky when it comes to vacuum or crankcase pressure. 1. Inspect your PCV lines, they tend to become brittle due to heat cycles and break, if PCV lines are good. 2. Check PCV checkvalves - they tend to fail and lock in either open or closed position, you can clean them w/ brake clean, if that works it might save you $500 on PCV system. 3. Do a smoke test for vacuum leaks.

Can bad index 11 injectors wash down cylinder walls and dilute the oil in the sump? I know fuel inside oil is highly volatile.
If they're bad and leaking, absolutely - they can kill your engine. Fuel does make its way to the oil over a period, hence the shorter oil change intervals, the better it is for the engine.
