I love the game, I fully understand what they were going on. and I also HATE this game with every fiver of my being for what they did to the story. Yes I am aware of the contradiction. Returnal could had been the ultimate cosmic horror piece of media ever done since Lovecraft. The whole abusive relationship thing is ok, but it ruined what could had been so much more profound, so much more deep, and most importantly. Universal. Just before the big big, second real twist; this game had managed to dig deep into my soul and awaken the cosmic dread in me. Then the second twist ruined it.... but it was subjective enough that I choose to ignore and keep my interpretation.... But the game is great. I could not stop playing. I mastered the tower, and by doing so.... I discovered this game was totally fucked. There is no room for interpretation once you 100%. A masterpiece ruined with the mundanity of paternal abuse.

Isidora's fight has to be one of the best, if not, the best fight in the game, at least in my opinion. I suffered like a little bitch when i faught her and yes, that no pause thing caught me of guard when i entered the battle, the fight itself was a surprise because i didn't know she was there.

You lost so many hidden parts of the plot, im just commenting because your conclusions suck. First of all no one even mentions the word Pinocchio in the game Lies of P, the P does not mean Pinocchio dude, it means puppet. Pinocchio of course could be implied but the puppet is not fucking Pinocchio. Second, Gepetto never sees the puppet as his son thats why he doesn’t bother explaining that the portrait is actually him. One cool thing im gonna add is that anytime Gepetto talks about his son he is never talking to the puppet, for example Gepetto says “i hate to see my son in such danger, but i am sure you can do it” Gepetto sees the puppet only as something that looks a lot like his son so he hates seeing his beloved son covered in blood but he has no second thoughts in sending the puppet out to murder everyone. Is like seeing a clone of ur mom sucking my junk, it sucks because she looks like your mom but then you remember is not really her. You dig?

You lost me early into the video, i don’t think this is a typical tale of “humanity being greedy with technology” some puppets even evolved and developed their own ego and chose to love their human masters. Gepetto hijacked the grand covenant and he forced the puppets to do things they did not want to do. In this situation technology is not at fault, it’s humanity. The puppet king for example, even when he lost control of himself he was still trying to help us even after being corrupted the puppets wanted peace. I’m just saying

I liked the MGSV cassettes bc I could play them while doing side ops, which I liked better than codec bc my ADD would always have a hard time putting the controller down while still being able to play attention, especially with no real visual stimuli

Originally the player would have been able to get the majority of the dossiers right away, as they all have dialogue for every mission, even legion. I am unsure when the change took place, as Tali and Legion are baked into story missions before you can recruit them. (They also have dialogue suggesting this was not the case) you don’t even need mods to do this, if you use a save editor to add legion to your party it’s dialogue and interactions work right away. Try bringing legion to the citadel when you go for the first time. I think you are right, it was a function of having to change discs on Xbox 360, though installing them to the systems hard drive reduced the number of times you have to swap discs iirc. 1:15:52

The developers had to have known Halo CE was going to be a hit before it released just from the solid gunplay and the protagonist. Master Chief is such an iconic character.

this game came at a chapter of my life i will never be able to recreate, meaning my experience with this game cannot be replicated. i was able to physically and emotionally put my time into it and appreciate everything it offered and i wouldn’t have it any other way. i walked away with a great appreciation for Hideo Kojima

D2 was so boring to me that i couldn't play it for more than 5 hours. Its doesnt feel that cool as d1. Also i expected the outsider to be kinda evil and manipulative bastard instead of a crybaby and suffering loser who needs to be saved

Question for prey fans. isn't it just worse dishonored set in space? Really, gameplay is terrible, same enemies, boring weapons, clunky fighting And that terrible audio implementation. So unrealistic it hurts, if you turn on the shower and stand to the left, you will hear 100% audio in your left ear and 0% in your right, you hear enemies 2 rooms away like they are next to you. Really, really terrible spatial audio. Not to mention how they mixed voice either way too loud or quiet. Many sounds are not labeled correctly and are at default volume despite setting all sounds to 30% for example (which you will have to do because of how terrible it sounds by default) The "multiple approaches" are not inplemented in any interesting way, it just lets you do the default "open a door with card or go through vent" wow, haven't seen that in any game... Not to mention they tell you have multiple options constantly, as if you are stupid The story is mid, at least

You're nuts to consider Bioshock 2 better than the first one.... absolutely nuts. Anyway, the Steam reviews confirm it... 94% for Bioshock, 88% for Bioshock 2. Bioshock is more than just gameplay, it's just crafted way better when it comes to graphics, voice acting, music, special moments, etc, it's a piece of art.

One of the most pervasive notes i see all the time is people taking 2B's initial "Emotions are prohibited" as a hard, bedrock rule of the Androids, when we literally see almost all of the YorHa androids expressing emotions. And on top of that. 2B is VERY obviously an unreliable narrator. Her little "Emotions are prohibited" are her coping with her own hard to deal with emotions, so she shuts them away.
