Nice video. But Mam , I've one doubt , how can we measure intertuberous diameter in a pregnant women by putting a fist , isn't it too big for passing through the vagina?
if you looked at the video and looked at other sources, the fist IS NOT inserted in the vagina...that is not right.. it is just placed right next to the ischial tuberosity, OUTSIDE the vagina (in the perineum)
Asking for some questions to practice for infertility, endometriosis, PID, benign and malignant cancer of uterus, cervix, fallopian tube vulva, AUB
Hi po. What is the best HRT po in this patient. A 53-year-old Filipina seeks consultation because of trouble sleeping and hot flashes which she states is already affecting her work performance. She is 5 ft tall, weighs 127 lbs, and is diagnosed as having hypertension with high cholesterol. Her family history includes diabetes and cardiovascular disease (CVD) -- her mother had a venous thromboembolism at 52 years of age following a serious car accident. Her chart lists her last menstrual period as having occurred 3 years ago, and she states that she is "tired of having the hot flashes." When asked whether she was having any other symptoms, she claims having frequency and slight dysuria three times in the past year alone for which she was given urinary antiseptics. She also has dys-areunia and as a consequence has decreased coital activity with her husband. She is currently compliant with her antihypertensive (Losartan 40 mg OD) and her Simvastatin 20mg OD. She denies taking any supplements and is not fond of taking milk and other dairy products. She occasionally takes walks and Zumba classes but not on a regular basis. She avoids sun exposure at all times and prefers staying indoors. PPE essentially within normal limits with BP 120/80 mmHg. Lab Exams including cholesterol profile shows essentially within normal levels however her LDL cholesterol is in the upper limit of normal. HDL level is modestly elevated at 67 mg/dL. Pap smear reports increased parabasal cells and mild inflammation.

Great video, and very informative. I've been scared to get a small polyp removed because of the very small risk of embolism. Is this something that you've ever encountered?
never had a patient who has embolism due to hysteroscopy. the procedure is very safe when done by a trained surgeon
