Do most pelvic exams involve the rectal part. I don't remember that part.

IF THE PATIENT IS MENSTRUATING WOULD IT ALTER THE RESULT OF THE PAP SMEAR?

we dont do papsmear when patient is menstruating. the blood will obscure the cells that we want the pathologists to examine
