Tineco IPX4 Repair: Suction Motor not Working. How to fix without taking it apart.
zhlédnutí 2,7KPřed 5 měsíci
My mop would stop working after running it for about 5 seconds. When I tried to run the auto clean function it would spill water all over the floor because the Suction Motor would never turn on. It would then stop the auto clean function and tell me to clear the suction hose. The hose and the tank were clean/clear but this would still occur. The problem was that the suction motor mechanically s...

In this video I replace the valve cover gaskets. This is a pretty simple job that can be done in about 3 hours with the right tools and parts. The gasket kit that I used for this job included the two gaskets for the valve covers, the grommets for the valve cover bolts, the air intake gaskets, the VLOM gaskets, along with a few other gaskets that I’m actually not sure what they are for. My Amazon Basics Wireless Mouse caused both of my computers to freeze randomly -- on six different versions of Linux Mint. I installed my backup mouse (never been used) and it solved ALL the problems. Both boot drives were corrupted due to multiple times of having to do a hard power off and restart. A replacement Amazon mouse is only about $10, so I will buy a new one. The old one has lasted for ~ 6 to 8 hours per day for at least 6 years.

Thanks for the tip - it got mine working again. It sounds to me like the suction isn't as good as it used to be, so I'm using it on max mode instead. I also have an issue in that it often won't charge. I took the contact from the base station out and gave it a clean which helped but it still has the issue sometimes. Anyone know how to best clean the contact so that it charged properly again?

    ● clean the pads with alcool before removing them, ● use a pointy scalpel to remove the pad (with a nail you will damage them as they are made of 2 parts) ● you might not have a screw hidden under tge label (mine only have 4 screws) ● reassemble it by putting the mouse on the back (because of the 2 switch stuff that will be detached)

I just disconnected and reconnected several times to help clean the terminals and then started the truck. Yes, your solution worked really well. Thank you!

This is probably the closest video that the symptoms on my 2012 passat can relate to. I have noticed that at cold start the rpm near 2000 and goes down after a couple of seconds. I have listened to the engine and I would hear loud air flow coming from somewhere and then a sound like a valve closing and the idle would go down. Plus when driving i would have intermittent idle stuck at 1000 rpm when stopping

Thank you for this video! Definitely helped me out through each step on my 2013 Passat 3.6 SE. I had a faulty PCV Valve and definitely to change the whole Valve Cover myself with the guide of this video. Only problem I ran into was the 2 big gaskets that are on the manifold. I installed them how you said and realized one of them was leaking air, causing random jumps in rpm. I took it off and put the 2 big gaskets on the manifold it’s self and set down on engine. Took away the air leak. Other than that, very helpful video.
