What is pay? Before and after qualification

Hello sir!!! Are equity research analysts allowed to do trading or investing as a retail investor??? For ex:- when i reach home or on holidays can i do normal trading as a normal person?

I have a doubt which is haunting me for a long time. Currently I am pursuing articleship in a very small firm where I am only the single article. I have learned GST returns, it returns, statutory audit( only for 2 companies one medical and the other software industry), I also filled the Roc forms. I also do accounting for a very small client. I worried that, can I get a job in a company with this small amount of knowledge. Should we have the full knowledge of field in which are applying for or the company will train us for that work. Whenever I get this question on my mind, I get stressed out. Please clarify my doubts.

Equity researcher does not work.practically even in mutual fund they have top class equity resurch whole team of many talented people.even many of mutual funds can not beat index in long run.so what really equity researcher are doing.
