In equity research analyst log bolte hai ki fresher ki salary 4-6lakh hai but Google pe dekha tha to 2-3lakh pa lowest se start hai or mostly fresher ko wahi milti hai shayad but ye to bohot jyada km hai😭.
Please iske bare mai btaye sach kya hai

Hi, yes Equity research sell side mein freshers ko kam hi milta hai start mein. Agar aapko field mein interest hai to aage badhke salary to badh hi jayegi. But zyada expectations start mein mat rakhna. CA Fresher ko generally 5-6 LPA jaisa hi milta hai ismein.

Equity researcher does not work.practically even in mutual fund they have top class equity resurch whole team of many talented people.even many of mutual funds can not beat index in long run.so what really equity researcher are doing.

Hi Adarsh, although a lot of people fail to generate alpha, there will always be some exception teams that manage to do so. I guess you need the right combination of research and luck to get it right. So I still feel equity analysts add value.
