- Hello everyone. The ICAI Campus placement programme is an opportunity for newly qualified chartered accountants to get a job to kickstart their career. So in this video I, CA Harsh Jasani is sharing how exactly does the ICAI Campus placement programme works and what kind of opportunities are available. I have a doubt which is haunting me for a long time. Currently I am pursuing articleship in a very small firm where I am only the single article. I have learned GST returns, it returns, statutory audit( only for 2 companies one medical and the other software industry), I also filled the Roc forms. I also do accounting for a very small client. I worried that, can I get a job in a company with this small amount of knowledge. Should we have the full knowledge of field in which are applying for or the company will train us for that work. Whenever I get this question on my mind, I get stressed out. Please clarify my doubts.
Yes, you definitely can, most of us end up getting jobs where we barely have practical knowledge. As long as your theoretical foundation is good, the nuances of executing it can be learnt eventually. Don't worry, most companies have good training programmes and you'll manage to do well. Even I am from a small firm where I did similar work.

I'm CA Fresher looking for core finance roles i don't have any rank and it took me 2 attempts to clear CA final
Which campus should I choose for core finance roles.
CA campus mostly doesn't have core finance roles, but Mumbai I believe probably gets the best companies due to presence of a lot of banks and research firms. I checked the list as well, Mumbai has some good companies this time around.

Thanks Lakshya. MBA from Tier 1 college is more lucrative than CA. However, on a standalone basis, CA is one of the best courses for a commerce student. The amount needed to do CA isn't much and a lot of it will be earned back in your articleship itself. Placement wise too you will get a very good package compared to other graduates. However it requires a lot of commitment and effort.

@@mr.technify5473 If you have the resources and confidence to get a good percentile in CAT and get into Tier 1 MBA Colleges then that would be great. If not CA is a great option too. The former is really difficult to get into but more lucrative as well. CA requires less resources but yes, it is a rewarding profession.

Bro.... All the congratulations and respect to u.... I have a question.... My financial circumstances are such that I need to become a CA ASAP.... In order to achieve my goal early I have started resorting to smart studies rather than comprehensive and in depth studies.... I have found that there are positive results in terms of marks due to such smart studies.... But there is always a guilt at the back of my head that such smart way is like a short cut that might hinder my post qualification growth.... So please help me out related to this fearful notion of mine.... I m sorry if I m bothering u
Studies and post qualification work have no relation. Yes theoretical knowledge is important but you can make up for it later. People are meant to prepare for the exam to clear it, not to become subject experts.

Totally depends on the company and profile being offered, ICAI kept a minimum CTC of 9 lakhs at big centres this year. The Big 4s offer similar packages while Corporates have different budgets.

Yes people gets ranks with articleship at Big 4s too. You just need to ensure you are able to do your daily quota of lectures and self study, doesn't matter where you do your articleship from then.
Sir HDFC Bank me work from Home mil sakta h kya
Company ke policy pe hai, par abhi majority days work at office hi hota hai with some exceptions.

Bank of Baroda credit role is contractual or permanent in Campus?
I can't recollect the exact thing, if you share the JD I could help. As far as I remember it was permanent and all the jobs that were offered were permanent.

CA Intermediate ke attempts count hote hai kya job ke liye?
Campus placement mein form mein no. Of attempts mention karne padte hai. Honestly, thodi jagaho par interviews ke shortlisting mein thoda problem aasakta hai but believe mein aap interview mein acha perform karengi to aapko select karlenge. Unko confidence and thoda knowledge vala candidate chahiye jinko vo groom karsake. Aap ache se prepare karke jao, fresher ke liye resume se zyada vo kaise baat karta hai vo zyada important hai. I got 543 in Inter and 527 in Final
So, ur experience not gonna help 95% of the newly qualified CAs.
If a multiple attempt CA shares his experience that would be more relatable & helpful for majority.
