The base rings are a nice touch, sadly I don't have a 3D printer but I'd imagine it makes it easier to identify officers, NCOs, weapon teams, etc.

Nice batrep! I know its not competitive but the common wisdom is around 100pts per order die as a baseline. Play as you enjoy, i find larger die counts lead to more hectic games. Keep up the bolt action, always enjoy these.

.Blackout is starting to strike me as an option for Infinity Lite. I do like the cover discipline and the one shot/hit one kill style to combat. Bit lethal to suit my fondness for narrative development teams but then future triage and treatment of GSWs could easily mean that downed is a recoverable condition Hey! altered Carbon style datastacks, recover the imprint so they can be downloaded into a new combat sleeve for the next battle, got it

Another great vid as a better substitute for a new game's quickstart rules Well made, simply presented without gimmicks which I like Well considered, mindful gaming channel and you need more games vids in this series Have you had a lookout at Fallout Wasteland warfare? Rules read dreadfully - you get a terrible impression of a fussy game and it actually plays really smoothly and well with real character to the weapon choices from those silly dice. Better than that is the ai system for solo and co-op games, seems pretty ubiquitous but until someone writes a complex and nuanced phone/tablet app to run ai well this card and dice based system is the best I've used in any TTG. My 15yr old is console generation, raised on savegames he's never learned to enjoy a game he actually loses and it blights our fun unless dad cunningly throws the game. Co-op is the answer but enemies are tedious except with decent AI direction and this game works well You can pick up the base game very cheaply ($60ish) and the plastic models folks disparage are fine and only suffer by comparison with their really nice resin substitutes - well worth painting anyway. Off to your back catalogue

Came here thinking it was Trench Crusade official but you just make really good vids with unusually clear explanation. The Blackout vid was just as well pitched, you can absolutely play first games using these vids instead of quick play rules - that's praise indeed. Have to say that apart from the ubiquitous/obligatory 40k your featured games are a well chosen best of indicative of thinking gamers with good taste. I'm not really one for battle report vids but as a traffic contribution I can put them on whilst I paint - which I'm not doing near enough of Yours is a very welcome addition to my channel list, well considered gaming is the best hobby food

Trying this out now as I slowly paint through my Soviet horde army. Curious on the model you started with Sand Golem. I noticed you left the webbing and belt unpainted. What paint did you use for them? I tried Bony Matter on them but not sure I like it.

The models and look are gorgeous, but it seems like it would depend on you having a crap load of terrain to stay interesting.

This absolutely sold me on the game. This is exactly the tactical-shooter-style game I was hoping it was. Next paycheck it is. And wonderful batrep! Love the straightforward (but well-made) style and I think it compliments the fast-paced game well.

Great game, really enjoyed that. The Goliath gangs luck was almost comical at times, but they really did tough it out to the last second. That home turf advantage really came in clutch for the prospectors, love it 😁
