Love the nomad going "nothing personnel kid", teleporting behind the poor Van Saar and firing a ROCKET in his back.
Still the best Necromunda battlereports out there!
Thanks! Always a work in progress.
Dude, you got narrators and artwork for this? You are on a whole other level! I can't wait to watch this later!
No exactly 🤣 I invoked the machine spirit
@@MiniatureGameMontage Roger that!

Just discovered you looking for Necromunda content. Really enjoyed, subscribed.
Welcome! 🙂
Your other video inspired me to paint my Delaque and I’m so pumped how they turned out… hopefully they have more luck on the battlefield though lol
Awesome thanks for letting me know! 👍
Absolutely love your Necromuda content. Hands down the best. I check daily to see if you’ve posted anything new.
Thanks, bud! I appreciate you sharing that. 🙂 I’m typically good for a video each week it’s just not always Necromunda. It’s still my favorite though!
Your videos are awesome there always interesting no matter how long or short and inspire me a lot as an arbitrator building my store's next campaign and player/hobbyist.
Thanks for letting me know! Best of luck on your build and campaign!
The quality is stunning. Good as always
That intro was epic loved it, keep up the great work
Thanks!
LETS GO VAN SAAR! (You have to feel sorry for Van Saars lmao)
Cursed! I did the entire pregame before and after the game I thought....well this isn't going to work at all. 🤣
@@MiniatureGameMontage Van Saar are just some sickly lads lmao
@@IdioticSynergy I play van saar and I have noticed the hole gang is cursed
Like I miss more +2 hits than +4's
yeah it's odd lmao@@FrostWolfPack
Would love to see competitive Van Saar next season - I sent you these examples before, I hope you don't think it's spam, but these two lists, while very different and not cheesy can both be effective and have easy gang progression!
The early buy path for either example gang is mesh armor for all (possibly skipping the juves) and then more rad grenades for rad stacking with the narrative gang.
For the damage gang path is Mesh armor first then frag grenades for blast marker options on the las weapon carriers. Also would be good to get any plasma weapon carrier a laspistol as a emergency last resort since all plasma's are scarce and with bad luck run out at the worst times.
The rad stacking narrative gang would be amazing to see in your campaign as luckily none of the other gangs wear hazard suits, which hard counter rad!
Both of these gangs are 1,000 creds on the spot.
Narrative List
Rad Phage 1 - Prime: Wargear: Armored Bodyglove, Rad Cannon, Skills: Iron Will
Rad Phage 2 - Archeotek: Wargear: Armored Bodyglove, Rad Beamer*, Ocular Alpha, Skills: Weaponsmith

Thank you! Your comments are always welcome here. Will definitely copy this message and save it in my notes. I’ll even try to move towards these fighters with downtime funds and see if we can’t get Van Saar on the table in April!
@@MiniatureGameMontage I'm sure no matter what it will be awesome, catch you next game!
Never go outside. NEVER ends well...
Oooh, that intro was amazing!
Well played guys. Good game .
Another great report! :)
Thanks, Ken!
Finally I got to see all the Necromunda seasons.
Now I am sad not tonhave more reports to see. 😂
Only one note. Did you forget to check initiative for falling the first time Nexus was pinned on the rooftop? Fell the second time though.😅
It's always an eyeball to check if they are within 1/2" of the edge. Sometime we just give them the benefit of the doubt. We measured if they are dead middle of the walkway they are safe.
Spoilers:
Ouch, that went about as well as expected. Though in fairness I kinda feel the gang were cursed at creation, really shows how important creating a gang is I'm sure in the next campaign they'll perform a lot better. Still good game to watch and it could easily have gone either way especially with the Nomads bottling early. How do you feel about using the new rules? Nice to see some increased lethality imho.
I really like them. It just feels more deadly and excess damage doesn't go to waste. In the past, you could roll 3 serious injuries and that was it. Now, you're getting reduced toughness and seriously injured. It just feels better imo.
For sure especially as these weapons are supposed to be super deadly!@@MiniatureGameMontage
Misfortune is why I always feels nervous with low model count gangs. Van Sarr in honesty have a hard time with getting there numbers up, but juves with lasguns is a thing....
Nice. I stopped playing necromunda some time ago but it is stiull fun.
lovely stuff! more like “a great place for awesome production value”
That makes me happy! 😀
Yeah ! Awesome .
Yeah... Van Saar isn't coming back from this.
Can’t believe Van Saar were bested here. I think the decision to charge Sipher in on turn two was possibly not the best. I’d have shot and retreated. Especially after he’d already got lucky in retreating in the first place.
Lots of poor dice on both sides though so could still have gone either way.
Yeah I thought, I can shoot and definitely hit...hopefully hit. But it's only 1 die to try to wound. Or I can charge and try twice. Maybe retreat was the better option but they have such poor movement.
@@MiniatureGameMontage They are slow but they need to stick to what they’re good at do VS. Other gangs do ok mixing it up but especially a Tek (was he?) needs to be shooting unless they have a melee weapon and ideally one with +1 to hit.
Pro tip from a friend (he used it against me to brilliant effect the other day) use blind fire. Go prone, shoot from prone and whilst it’s -2 to hit, with VS being that good anyway you’re still in with a good chance and +1 at short range with a las gun it’s even better. Then you can’t get shot back as easily too.
End of the day, in that scenario, a fighter from one side or the other is going to get decked fast and it often comes down to who gets priority.
@@SebbStrife That's a great idea! Thanks for sharing!
Looks like the Van Saar inherited the Escher luck. Still, wasn't a complete faceroll! If the Prime had remembered his inhaler and multivitamins before the fight, he woulda lasted longer. And the Archeotek, too busy stuffing D cells into his fancy gizmos! The Nomads had a much more stable game, and even pulled off some nasty tricks in that topside fight.
Yeah that "now you see me" card is a powerful one. They had another, "master sniper" that extends the range of a weapon 6". We didn't use it but lots of tricks!
Good Game
great game it was do or die for ether side cant see van saar making a come back nomad maybe
Hail all
For the algorithm
The 2 flesh wounds on the fella that fell. Why did he get those when 2 breaks were rolled? Wondering because I didn’t think breaks caused flesh wounds. That big time changes how I’ve been playing with my game group! Ha
Which one? If you have a time stamp I’ll look it up. Serious injury rolls now inflict another flesh wound unless assisted.
@@MiniatureGameMontage I think that part was new to me. I like it. Just didn’t know it was a thing. Went down a huge rabbit hole looking at all the updated rules in the “new” core rule book. Ha
@@aurictgreatful oh for sure. Now fighters without assistance will essentially bleed out every turn they don’t roll a skull. I have a video on the updates you can reference as well. 🙂
Daaaam I feel bad to Van Saar like every campaing where I have been I have been bottom dog.
And on battle repports they fail like no tomorrow.
We'll get better. Still trying to figure them out but they took some unlucky shots in that one.
@@MiniatureGameMontage And one thing NEVER go melee whit Van saar if here is a chanse to shoot some body instead.
@@FrostWolfPack yeah I knew the shot would hit. Wound a different story. So I wanted to get two chances by charging 😂
Who is the starting narrator?
The Machine Spirit. I've been messing around with AI lately 🤣
Enjoyed the game and batrep, not a huge fan of the AI narrator at the beginning, though. Thanks for the batrep!
Thanks, always trying new things 🙂
I believe plasma pistols do 2 wounds, just fyi!
