Ever since My home run 5 days ago or something I've been sticking out every time I've been 0 for 10 with 20 strike outs, my coach thinks it's my batting stance, I have a batting stance similar to gleyber Torres or like shower what they do with their front foot and my coach thinks I'm early because of that, I wake up everyday at 6:30 and go practice with my dad batting, and we changed my batting stance to like what shower or gleyber Torres did cause when I just did a normal swim and stuff my front foot went outwards and my coach wants me to go back to that. I've been been swinging at everything including balls way up high cause I Just need a hit somehow, and when I swing at strike I'm either in top or under it and I miss it. For me it's the little small details. But you're right, it is mental, because before my Game I hype myself up with rock music and when I'm at a game at bat I get nervous and stuff, I try to think of a song that hypes me up in the batters box but the negative stuff comes to me. This is a great video, do you have any other tips?

My son is 14 and he is a catcher. He started practicing switch hitting about 2 years ago, he has become very good at switch hitting. He is a power hitter in the 3/4 spot and is equally successful hitting right or left. It has definitely taken him some time and a lot of work to master this skill.

Everything you’re saying about the mental approach? Perfect, the rest of the video is pretty good as well. I don’t agree with your load approach. A hitter should midline through the top of your cap you’re moving your head 4 to 6 inches back toward the catcher on your load. No high level hitters do this. Bryce Harper may appear to at first glance, but what he’s really doing is dropping into a stronger hitting position as the ball approaches. I think it would be an important point to include. I’m just a coach, ck it for yourself, Trout, Betts, none of the best ever go back to go forward. Good job on the video though coach
