Ugh the Mechanist quest was my last dlc I was 90% of the way through when the new PS5 Fallout update completely wiped that & all my other completed dlc!!! Btw, if you don’t kill the Mechanist she gives you ongoing side quests.

Serana definitely doesn't deserve A tier, the only reason she is praised by the community is because people are simps for vampires, she has well written character development and that's pretty much all there is to it, she's annoying, she prefers using the drain life spell which barely works on the undead, and doesn't work at all on dwemer machines. While I do agree Ice Spike is pretty powerful, again Serana tends to prefer drain life, or even daggers (which she sucks at). She is forcibly put into your party, discharging your current followers. If you want a Mage Character, J'zargo is far better, and Teldryn Sero is a way better option than Serana, J'zargo dealing both HP and MP dmg and Teldryn having the ability to spawn a flame atronach each time a fight starts.

Dawnbreaker is kinda meh tho, its a sword made by the deadric prince of "fuck the undead right to exist" but its not even that much better against them than a regulary enchanted weapon, 15 fire damage on hit with 50 AOE damage + turn undead on weaker enemies on a 25% chance on kill conditional ain't that exceptionnal I had to go in CK and rework it entirely to be truly the bane of the undead viable even in difficulty increasing modlists (I usualy find draugr with +1K HP) -Custome silver weapon modifier : the enchant can only trigger on the undead, changed damage from 15 fire to 50 sun damage -SFX changed from fire to sun : more fitting Meridia and its effect compared to fire enchantment doesn't clutter the screen all that much, even more fitting that Dawnguard is a borderline meridian cult as it use her power -On kill effect boosted to occure all the time, AOE damage increased to 100 with resist bypass Now that blade is truly exceptional at making the undead deader Same with spellbreaker, legendary artifact able to nullify all magic lore wise made you impervious to all known magic caster to have existed, create a measely ward you can cast at the adept lvl already Also went to CK and boosted its ward from 50 to 200 making it lore accurate in its "fuck your magic" effect, also attached the reflect spell effect back on shield bashing that was finished but cut for final release for whatever reason Blade of Woe, based it on the ESO version when you're told what it is : attacks ignore all armor on target, not familiar enough to make it so on sneak attack only, not that it matter with of broken daggers are with sneak attacks without putting much effort into it At this point I am doing a "lore accurate artefact" mod

There's actually an easy way to take out the Mirelurk Queen. Before clearing the Mirelurks from the Castle, set up 2-4 Bottlecap Mines in the section the Mirelurk Queen will cross to attack while having at least the 2nd or 3rd perk in Explosives (I can't remember which rn). Insta-kill. Works every time. Since I discovered that, I do it every time. Usually I only bother with grenades/mines when dealing with major boss fights too - and only when I can plant them around the place beforehand (and yes, I do this with the Kellogg fight too). I like the nervous Travis, so I never do the quest to give him confidence. I only do the bit to get Vadeem out of the stupid corner. That's it.
