Physical hard work like in jungle, farms, other work generates dopamine, serotonin if heart and soul engaged in spiritual thoughts for few hours. There must be conscience satisfaction, amiable way of dealing with concerned people. What you assess about it

The serotonin hypothesis and dopamine hypothesis for mental illness have never been proven so most of what he’s saying sounds great but without much evidence to support what he’s saying. Obviously these receptors & neurochemicals play a role in mental illness and addiction but it’s not all as simple as he’s making it sound I’m afraid.

Brilliant and fantastic. Thank you. ❤ Thinking about the left brain that contains our identity and files on who we are, but how many of those files are corrupted from birth on. Starting with ancestral genetics and belief systems to how one was raised, friends, schools, work influence, abuse or encouragement, we are not who we really are and how do you find out who you really are? Enters the right brain to help ground us, find a deeper part of ourselves even in it's expansivesess? What part of the brain is the subconscious considered, where changes can be made to left brain programming?

So too much CZcams exposure will increase dopamine too much and supress serotonin. Thus, we will become dependent on CZcams for that dopamine boost and the decreased serotonin will cause more depression. Is that correct?

The question for me is how to maintain a balanced state of mind when present circumstances are and have been difficult for a long time…when one doesn’t have a support network or the free time or energy to find one, when one is working paycheck to paycheck with no end in sight, even in old age. (My situation). These are great suggestions, but there are many people living in a great deal of uncertainty in a culture that isn’t supportive of people who don’t have economic security. That’s a reality.
