Great video. After hours of banging my head trying to figure out how to setup afterburners and idle on my Virpil cm3 throttle, I finally figured how to create buttons on the throttle axis that trigger the afterburners once I use the finger lifts over the detent 80%-100%. Idle is 0%-12% detent.

Also Why Can’t Any serious flight game have Photorealistic Afterburners These days !? Even “dCs” afterburners look like PS2 is trying too hard

Tutorial is great, but can't seem to get that first turn nailed, nose always drops and before I know it speed is 140 or, something and descending.

Just like GA and airlines, I feel like I'm on a journey. I loved the videos on the Hawk T1 and PC-21. Picked up the PC-21 and slowly getting used to it. (Still thinking about the Hawk!). But wow... the F-35B cockpit design is amazing! Get rid of distracting switches and buttons. Stick it all on a wide touchscreen display. If Tesla made GA aircraft it would have one of these.

Loved this. I haven’t tried fast jets yet and do love look or the Hawk. These sorties feel like they’d be more meaningful than just flying randomly around at speed.

I used to have a caravan in the Mach loop, we were driving down to Barmouth through it and we didn’t expect it, but the red arrows went over. Highlight of the 10 years we had it.

Great video and would love to get this when it's out. My Dad flew the Tornado from Marham so guessing he'd love a go. I believe he was also dual qualified both front and back seat as he was the Sqn boss (617 Sqn) so be interesting what he makes of both. Is it possible to select different tail letters in the sim? Just wondering as he took a specific jet out to the Gulf equipped with TIALD, the tail letters were AC - The Armoured Charmer - and it would be great to 'reunite' him with the jet if only virtually.

I have jumped from both the French AF and German LW Transalls, that view from the Starboard jump door was scarily realistic. The Germans use a klaxon as well as a green light, always gives you a start. lol. Great vid with some interesting insights.

The question is if the F35 was actually any good all this information would be classified ala the F22.

I don't know how I ended up here . I'm not a simmer or enthusiast but I do recognise a T-38 . I know a lot about Mercury/Gemini/Apollo and NASA used to give their astronauts T-38s (Talons ?) to keep them sharp and for business . In fact , in the early years 4 astronauts were killed in 3 separate T38 crashes (Freeman, Bassett/See & Williams) . Beautiful plane .

What do you use to plan your flights?

It's beautiful although it's not able to perform two-wheel taxiing ... like the real thing. Cyclic and collective can't raise the front wheels alone.
