The Bisyodo BF05 is a silky beauty the foundation brush is great also and I really love their Grand series

I adore this series! I have several brushes and they are all amazing! Exquisite quality but the price is not extortionate. I'm really considering getting the powder brush. I would have liked to see it next to the Niji Pro rather than the Jumbo Bronzer, though, since I feel those two shapes are a lot more comparable and this brush is a lot cheaper. As for the flat top brush, the closest one I can think of is the Chikuhodo Z-3 (except it's grey squirrel, obvioulsy). I also think the cream eye shadow one is very close to the Suqqu F, which is now synthetic. And the tanuki one reminds me of the Rephr 33.

I absolutely love the Bisyodo Long series for the aesthetics, variety of brush shapes, and variety of hair types. The only negative I find is whatever the black dye does to their dyed saikoho bristles. I wish they would either leave them undyed, or use a dye that doesn’t process them in the same way. It makes them feel kind of synthetic, or overly processed, or… something.

Lovely videos as usual. Do you have any chiense fude brushes? I must admit, I was very hesitant to purchase any brushes not from Japan, but I have recently invested in some from aliexpress and was pleasantly surprised on how good the quality is, especially with the snow fox hairs. If you have any, can you please make a video showing what you have? I would love to hear your thoughts 😊

Gorgeous saibikoho collection! Iown all of the lovely brushes mentioned in this video with the exception of the rephr angled brush. They are a joy and pleasure to use!

I’ve just snuck into the end of 2023 with the Eihodo aged squirrel hair 55mm powder brush from CD Japan. I’ve been going to pick up a longer squirrel hair brush, that is a little less delicate than the Maiko brush (because I don’t want to damage the makie). So with the plain handle hopefully it won’t get dinged up in my clumsy hands.

Oh my .. i really wanted the koyudo but I haven’t pulled the string ! It’s beautiful. Too many brushes out there. I am drowning in the sea of beautiful brushes ! But I can’t save myself to buy every single one of them !

I have both rephr brushes. Obviously I love both 😁. The pink one I use it for blush and the white one I use it for bronzer.

Wow !!! The koyudo powder brush is massive !!!! I passed on the new koyudo one but the handle is so lovely !!
