Our repurposed kitchen cabinets have been *fine* for the past 7 years, but it is time for a change. Of course we're painting and sprucing them ourselves, and on a budget. Here's how it went!

The thing with that type of pour over (having spilled MANY times, myself!) is that it does this when your cup is too wide. You need a cup that’s got a smaller opening so the filter holder rests entirely, not the edge/lip. Try a smaller diameter cup if you’ve got one 😉 and those just add water meals are already precooked, I’ve made the same mistake of thinking “cook” when it’s really just “rehydrate.” I miss Gunther in all your earlier videos! he sure is a little companion! Great video-as always!thanks!

I think that was the only time I’ve ever heard him make that sound. 😃 It’s typically a full bark or fake sneezes. As for desert living, eventually you get used to the sensation of your body baking. 😅

Thank you for differentiating "cottage" pie from "shepherd's" pie. In Great Britain regions shepherd's pie would always be made most likely from lamb or mutton, as cattle were working animals that would not be slaughtered as a general food source. And don't get me started on "Chilean Sea Bass"...😊

Great trip, and thanks for the explanations. I didn't think after Moab to continue to Denver, because of the distance, now I'm convinced it's worth it. I wanted to know, how many days is the route in total?
Thank you! It was 3 days out (because of the detour to Las Vegas), and 2 days back, driving an average of 6 hours a day. We did the trip again recently, skipping Las Vegas and stopping in Moab, going both directions. That was 2 days each way, with Phoenix-Moab being a little over 7 hours.

I have so many mesquite trees with beans on my property. But most of the beans with little tiny holes. Are these bad beans?
Those are bruchid beetle bore holes. I typically store them in a ventilated container for a few weeks to allow any possible hitchhikers to escape. If any are still in there after that, they’re not harmful.
