Pieiron mulberry cobbler & peach crisp. Two super easy, three ingredient camping recipes

  • Spring has sprung in the garden and I have so much fresh fruit! So of course I want to take it camping and toss it into a pieiron. For dessert, I made a peach crisp (also works with apples, pears, cherries, etc). For breakfast, mulberry cobbler (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and canned peaches also work great!).

    If cast iron is more your speed, I sometimes use a Rome XL pie iron. It's a bit heavy and needs to be seasoned, but make for a slower, more even cook.
