Cracking views Frank. That snow on the Ben, really shows what a few hundred meters more altitude holds on to.
Cheers Andy, yeh I wasn’t expecting that much snow in the Ben and neighbours, what a viewpoint from this Munro Thanks again ATB Frank
Nice relaxing film Frank, enjoyed that. Some great waterfalls on the way up. Wasn't expecting to see hail in June.
Thanks Andy, yeh it’s certainly one of the quieter hikes in Glencoe and that waterfall was lovely to watch all the way up. Yeh it was bizarre when I neared the summit with the weather Thanks again ATB Frank
Brilliant - hoping to do this really soon with Buster the Munro bagger
Thanks very much Marie, hopefully you get great conditions when yourself and Buster get round to it. Views are amazing from it.👍 Thanks again ATB Frank
I'm glad you managed to get a dry , clear day after all the crap weather bud, fantastic drone footage and a brilliant video mate 👌 atb Brian 👍
Cheers mate, yeh the weather turned out to be much better than expected.🏔☀️ ATB Frank
Cannae beat a guid day like that in Glencoe Frank. 😎👍 That burger anaw 😋
Well done lads!!!! Liathach is the creme de la creme for all of Alba!!! ❤👍
Thanks very much, it was a fantastic day on the Torridon Giant. I absolutely loved it. Thanks again ATB Frank
Got a feeling that was about my 6th or 7th Munro, cracking walk with arguably the best views in Glencoe. Cracking video frank. Keep meaning to use red squirrel myself actually for a wee change
Cheers Robert, it’s a fantastic munro, very easy to reach and yeh superb views. The wee campsite is ideal for a base if your hiking in the area for a few days. Thanks again Frank
@@hikingwithfrank315 when I was up there was a bees 🐝 nest in the cairn, was getting swarmed. Didn’t get a chance to sit and look around but after seeing yours I can see it’s got a few good pitching spots for a camp 🏕️
@@Moffatmountainadventures yeh there certainly is Robert, would be a great summit camp.⛺️👍🏔
Another fantastic wee walk Frank, from a less popular ascent route.
Thanks Alistair, it turned out a lot better than expected 🏔☀️👍 ATB Frank
Looks great Frank - good the weather stayed ok for you next day to walk some of them burgers off 🍔🍔Some views from up top. It's a place I have hardly ever been too (passed through plenty times)...you know I have always thought if there wasn't a road running through Glencoe it would be among the finest set of Mountains in Scotland to hike into...still a fine place though. ⛰👍👍
Cheers Davie, yeh it certainly worked those burgers off🤣 I know they can be busy but the views you get from them are incredible. Cheers again mate ATB Frank
Fantastic video Frank. I remember doing these last February in the snow. It was basically my first winter munro. I had blue skies and white mountains that day. I've always wanted to return and take my son up Stob Coire Raineach. Probably not the other one just yet. But well done for a cracking video. ATVB Alan
Thanks Alan, you must have really enjoyed your day with those conditions when you did it. Yeh it’s a fab mountain with fab views. Thanks again ATB Frank
Hey Frank, great hiking up that very steep mountain! Scotland's mountains are incredibly beautiful! 🏴🗻👍 Thanks, Chip 🇺🇸
Thanks Chip, Scotlands mountain vary quite a lot but there a some really beautiful ones. This one is very easy to reach the summit and you are blessed with fantastic views. Thanks again Chip ATB Frank
Hi Frank, Glencoe at its best, well done. Cheers
Thanks Charlie it certainly is, I never tire of the place. Thanks again ATB Frank
Grand day out fantastic views Frank nice mate
Cheers Andrew, yeh it turned out a lot better than expected. Lovely Munro that one.👍 Thanks again ATB Frank
Superb Frank, was a belting hike that was, loved it, you’re right about Glencoe, there are many a stunning place in Scotland, but not many top Glencoe for its beauty. Thanks as ever for sharing your adventure with us mate All the best Dave 😀🥾⛰🏴
Cheers Dave, I’ve been to Glencoe so many times and never tire of it, yeh there are many beautiful areas in Scotland, we’re just spoilt for choice I guess 🤣🤣 Thanks as always for taking the time to watch & comment. ATB Frank.🏴🏴🏔☀️👍
Your videos are just fantastic ❤
Thanks Joy, appreciate that. ATB Frank.👍
Brae re ach….
Yeh, thanks just a wee slip up 🤣
Stunning video frank.. nice one 👍
Thanks for watching & commenting, really appreciate it 👍 It turned out not too bad a day. ATB Frank
Cracking photo of the Ben with snow Frank 🙌
Cheers Keith, yeh I was surprised just how much snow was on it. Thanks again ATB Frank
Great video Frank. Nice to see such good views from the summit. I have to get up there again to bag that one. Stob Dubh was my first Munro last October, but I skipped the second one as it was getting dark. I couldn't get booked into the club site in Glencoe as they were too busy. So I stayed at Loch Tay and managed to bag Ben Lawers in spite of a very heavy wind. Then bagged the two Munros up at Loch an Daimh. On the day you did this one I bagged a Fiona named Creag Garbh on the south side of Loch Tay.
Thanks Karl, yeh the views up there were special. You did the right thing not tackling the 2nd if you thought you’d be in the dark. Can be a busy campsite with its location. All the munros you mention are all good ones. Thanks again ATB Frank👍
Beautiful landscape. Fantastic video. Thanks for sharing. 👍67
Thanks very much for watching and liking👍 yeh the landscape is beautiful up there. ATB Frank
Brilliant Frank always a great walk in glencoe but that looks a great route and not far from the camp site and pub , loved the waterfall shots . Atb Ally 👍
Cheers Ally, very good hike, next time I’ll continue round to Bidean and SCNL and do the loop, very handy for the campsite and pub.🍺🍺⛺️👍 ATB Frank
Brilliant Frank 😍👍..I love it up there..Some great scrambles..Top class drone footage as usual..It’s such an amazing place up there..Something different from yourself with no vlogging..Still great .Enjoyed that bud 😁 Cheers Murchie
Cheers Murchie, as you know the scrambling is great up there, I just love glencoe. Thanks again mate ATB Frank
@@hikingwithfrank315 😁👍
Great video.Frank. Glencoe is an amazing place. Seemed funny you not speaking but worked well with the music. A great view of that waterfall. It's surprising how quickly the weather changes up there. Well done..ATB Andy
Cheers Andy, yeh thought the music suited the scene, yeh it can be very changeable up there, my hike the next day was in glorious sunshine.☀️🏔 ATB Frank
Great video Frank!
Thanks Tam, turned out a great day.👍 ATB Frank
Well done Frank. That was absolutely stunning. Loved the drone shots and the suttle music. Definitely a atmospheric video. Hope your voice has came back okay. Am heading up that way on fri maybe further north for a couple of nights. Hoping to take in a few munros. Well done and get better soon. ATVB Alan
Cheers Alan, voice was better for the next days hike. Hope you have a great time wherever you end up Alan. Thanks again ATB Frank
Never doubt the GPS Frank, I’m the first to admit I’m no good with map and compass and rely on the gps, never let me down yet….horrible conditions when I did these in April, got caught in a snowstorm, don’t think I’d be in a hurry to repeat lol….great video as always, got sooooo many to catch up with 🙈 Take care mate, Steven 🥾⛰️🏴🏴
Cheers Steven, I usually do trust the GPS 100% but on this occasion myself & Dave were adamant the gps was playing up🤣🤣 I’m no good with map & compass either🤣🤣 Thanks again ATB Frank
Stunning Video Frank! I like your chat but this was very good, amazing shots, cracking drone footage and good atmospheric tunes as always! My favourite was the waterfall shots! top drawer mate!! Paulo
Cheers Paul, yeh it turned out a cracking day all things considered. Really nice hike up and the waterfalls were really nice. Cheers again mate ATB Franko👍🏔
Hope the voice is better frank. Looked an interesting day out. 4 seasons for sure. I was in cairngorms the day before that and got hit with similar. Unreal! It’s bloody June! ATVB Robert
Cheers Robert, voice was ok for the next days hike thankfully It actually turned out really good Robert, much better than expected. Yeh couldn’t believe it was snowing at the summit🤣🤣 In my next vid when I got views I couldn’t believe how much snow was on Ben Nevis and the Anochs, that’s Scotland for you eh🤣🤣 ATB Frank
@@hikingwithfrank315 I know! It was a mental few days
A cracking hike that 1 Frank ⛰️ 🥾 Loved the music 👍
Thanks David, it turned out a lot better than I was expecting. Will defo go back up and maybe do the loop. Thanks again ATB Frank
@@hikingwithfrank315 SCNB itself is a cracking hike did you plan to go as far as Bidean and call it quits due to the weather ? That’s a stunning waterfall my favourite in Glencoe
@@davidcalder8210 hi David, it wasn’t in my original plan but If the weather was clearer I prob would have went to Bidean as I had plenty of time to kill seen as I was camping up there that night. The next time I go up I’ll carry on to Bidean and then SCNL and do the loop. That would be nice
You communicated the message well despite not using your voice. 👍 Well done! Frank, I wish your voice well soon. And, as usual, that was incredibly beautiful scenery!
Thanks Chip, always appreciate your comments. Thankfully voice was ok for the next days hike chip☀️🏔👍 Yeh I love those conditions where it’s constantly changing, views were superb when the clouds parted. Thanks again ATB Frank🇺🇸🏴🏔👍
always enjoy your banter, but this' a nice change, hope your throat heals soon
Thanks Joan, voice was better next day for my next hike in Glencoe, thankfully👍 Thanks again for watching ATB Frank
Lovely video nice views and cracking ridge hope your voice gets better
Cheers Andrew, it’s a lovely hike and away from the crowds. The views were spot on when the weather allowed. Voice was better next day thanks ATB Frank
Loved the drone shot of the waterfall Frank.Great route in there. Will deffo be back in away from the normal Glencoe crowds to finish what I started earlier this year.😀👍
Cheers Andy, it was after watching your vid that I decide to give it a go. It’s a cracking hike Andy and yeh I never met another soul, that’s kinda unheard of in Glencoe🤣🤣 When I take Hen Broon up think I’ll continue round to Bidean then over Stob Coire Cheers mate ATB Frank
Great video Frank ,very atmospheric 👍
Thanks Neil, still had a fab day, weather was totally diff the next day.☀️🏔👍 ATB Frank
Certainly not a day for the ridge Frank😮
Hi Alistair, no it certainly was not, although the next day looked perfect for it which again wasn’t the forecast. ATB Frank
Hi Frank, I hope your voice soon got better. A cracking video though, something a little different, the moody music certainly went with the moody skies. Absolutely beautiful scenery, Glencoe man…..just amazing. All the best mate Dave 🥾⛰🏴🏴
Cheers Dave, it was actually fine by the next days hike.👍 Aye it was certainly a moody day alright, but yeh what a place glencoe is, defo one of my faves, Great views in my next days hike in Glencoe with completely diff weather again. Thanks again Dave ATB Frank.🏴🏴🏔👍
Nice one. Great scenery and captured very well
Cheers Mike, i thoroughly enjoyed the day even with the mixed conditions. ATB Frank
Cracking good video of a less well trodden route.
Cheers Jim, it was a fantastic hike up there and never saw a soul, unusual for Glencoe. ATB Frank
Great footage, camera is superb. Makes it look like you are there! How long is the ridge part in terms of distance? Looks very narrow in places.
Hi Terry, thanks very much for watching, it’s a great route up to Ben Nevis, it’s about a mile long and yeh in some parts it’s very narrow, there is a bypass path if you didn’t fancy the ridge itself Thanks again, ATB Frank
Brilliant Frank as ever - great detail of the route I’d like to take. Wish I knew someone with a dinghy and outboard 😊
Nice one Frank. 👍 A nice wee return for ya. 😎
Cheers Kev, yeh was surprised at how good it was, a very enjoyable wee hike.👍 ATB Frank
Nice one Frank, a cracking day all be it a bit windy but a nice clear day. They are all good hills in Arrochar , done them all a few times . Like you say just over an hour away us which is spot on for for keeping legs going ..cheers
Cheers Stevie, yeh there all good in the Arrochar Alps, it was good to get great views, I’ll be playing in the AA during the winter months. Cheers again Stevie 👍 ATB Frank
Brilliant Frank 😍👌🏻..Such a cracking mountain mate..I’v done it three times and never had a view🤣🙈..I used the bike as well ..Makes it so much quicker..Goos craic as usual mate..The views were amazing as well Cheers Murchie
Cheers Murchie, yeh it’s a cracker mate, pity you haven’t had any views, I’m the same with Beinn Ime🤣 We’ll need to do Ben vane in winter, would be a cracker. Yeh using the bike is much better fun and a good bit quicker.🚴🏽👍 Thanks again Murchie 👍 ATB Franko

Nice day out Frank.
Cheers Andy, it certainly was and only about an hour from home. ATB Frank

Pretty similar conditions to what I experienced at the weekend doing the couple of Corbetts 🏔️🏔️ near Aberfeldy Frank, great views 🏔️🏔️🏔️ and ☀️ but extremely windy 🌬️ Ben Vanes a cracking Munro 🏔️ great viewpoint with lots of character 🏔️ I'm glad the ebike was still there, a bit worrying being so close to the roadside 🚗😂 Another great vlog mate 👌 atb Brian 👍

Lov this wee mountain Frank. I have been up there seven times now and it never fails to impress 😊. Loved that shot as you approached the cairn 😊😊😊😊😊. Paulo

👍 Hey Frank, nice job hiking and rock scrambling! I'm curious... do you usually have cellular reception where you hike, in case of an emergency? I started carrying an emergency beacon by satellite, following that Achilles injury I experienced on a long hike, I previously mentioned to you. Thank you for sharing that video!
Cheers Chip, on most mountains you can get reception at or near the summits, I was thinking about getting one myself as I do solo hiking a fair bit also. It’s defo piece of mind. Yeh it was a great hike and just a little bit of scrambling near the top. Thanks again ATB Frank
