This interpretation is a bit too fast. 😯
"Too fast", "Too slow", it does mean nothing for me... "To fast (or to slow) for my opinion", OK. I don't like very much this interpretation, I think it is too fast for my ears, but I'll never say : "Too fast", as if there was a "right" tempo. Ans I have to say that, sometimes, when I listen a tempo "too fast" or "too slow" for what I like, I hear many things I don't hear in "my" tempo.

I love to see young people play so beautifully, their families must be so proud. A very moving piece, a little lighter arranged by Mahler for orchestra , but still very emotional.
@Tony Powell , so this version for orchestra is from Mahler? Is very interested to know it ! Mahler and the death are an inseparable pairing. I'm surprised that he created this lightweight transcript. He is very dramatic 🤨
