    I have a few versions of this, and this has to be the best version. The interpretation, energy and emphasis seems to be spot on, imho.

    Esthétisme à l'état pur ! Un son parfait ! Trop souvent avec les quatuors, le son est inaudible ! Un orchestre Fameux !

    I love to see young people play so beautifully, their families must be so proud. A very moving piece, a little lighter arranged by Mahler for orchestra , but still very emotional.

      @Tony Powell , so this version for orchestra is from Mahler? Is very interested to know it !
      Mahler and the death are an inseparable pairing. I'm surprised that he created this lightweight transcript. He is very dramatic 🤨

    C'est une musique émouvante. Quand je vois ça, je regrette pleinement de ne pas savoir jouer un instrument !
    Comme il n'y a pas de chef d'orchestre, les musiciens se regardent entre eux. C'est une des qualités de cette vidéo.

    Spectacularly performed, given there's no conductor... and yet, i must say that this piece truly is one that i can only imagine being interpreted by a string quartet. Don't get me wrong, this is admirably handled, but in the intimate confines of a string quartet, this work simply speaks more powerfully. Truly a piece that takes full advantage of the expressive range of the four instruments.

    • @GuillaumeDeslandres
      @GuillaumeDeslandres Před 4 lety +6

      "Too fast", "Too slow", it does mean nothing for me... "To fast (or to slow) for my opinion", OK. I don't like very much this interpretation, I think it is too fast for my ears, but I'll never say : "Too fast", as if there was a "right" tempo. Ans I have to say that, sometimes, when I listen a tempo "too fast" or "too slow" for what I like, I hear many things I don't hear in "my" tempo.
