I did Fluorouracil 5-FU (Adriamycin), (Doxorubicin) and Cytoxan (Cyclophosphamide) while pregnant. Started on my 2nd trimester (3 months and 4 days to me exact). Gave spontaneous natural birth at 39 weeks to a 4lb 12oz male baby. He's 11 months old now and doesn't have any health issues. I was diagnosed with Invasive ductal carcinoma stage 2, HER2 positive. Hope this helps someone, as I found very little information about chemotherapy during pregnancy.

Exactly and currently there is not enough done to support women who have cleared genetic or genome testing, but who have several members who had breast cancer. It is disappointing that after 11 years when this video was loaded, there is not an advance nor a standard of care to screen and prevent cancer from occurring in those families.

How can you hit every nail on the head like that. I think of everything you just said when I go in for my treatments. No time to talk about it, not the job of the nurses or Dr to talk about stuff like that. I wish I had someone to talk to. This depression brought on by my diagnosis originally is eating me alive from the inside out. I think the depression is beating me harder then the cancer or the treatments.

I recently survived stage IV metastatic colorectal cancer and although I feel so blessed to be alive and no longer suffering, the experience destroyed my relationship. I didn't understand what it was doing to my significant other. We had no resources for her. We tried to make it work after I survived, but the damage was horrendous. We split even though we were still desperately in love. I don't think either of us will ever fully recover. This subject is so important.....
