You are also shooting from a very bladed stance which changes how the rifle butt fits in your shoulder things a bit. Anyway If I had people shooting back at me, I’d rather present my body armor and not risk my elbow getting shot off.

It is a piece of junk with all kind of problem:failure to feed, to eject etct.. I did polish the feeding ramp, smooth out the hammer to the point that it only works with double action only (since I grinds out too much of the hammer) and it still has problem. Sent back to walther and paid for repair and replacement of hammer, and it still has the same problem even with CCI Mini mag.. Got tired of it. A friend of mine has the same gun (tactical one) and it also has the same problem.

Love your video. R92 newbie and really struggled with getting the ejector/spring/little round doohickey back together. Your suggestion of temporarily putting the lever pin into the bolt to hold everything from springing apart saved my bacon. I spent hours before trying this and was ready to just chuck the bolt out of the window! Also felt your video was very honest with how you got through the tuff spots, and the commentary pretty much mirrored my own thoughts (minus the swearing LoL). I know it has been quite a few years since you put this video out but thank you for doing so. Hope all has been well with you in the years since

If you ever trained in the military with the M9, its pretty natural to you. The Sig is nice, but obviously adapted for those with baby deer hands.

Great video!! My only advice is to cover your firing pin while running the brushes down the barrel just to avoid any unwanted damage to the firing pin. Cheers!

Bought one of these in 1968 from Sears. Paid $69 for it. Never had a problem with it. By 2009 the blueing had worn off of the receiver. Tried to have it reblued, but it wouldn't take the blueing. Decided to have it bead blasted with 400 grit and parkerized to milspec. Turned out nice.

I have picked up one of these I think,it is marked ranger on the barrel and has LAMMY etched on the Floorplate.i believe lammy was a sports store in Kalispell Montana,I would shure love some info on this.

I have three out of the 4. No AK. The SKS is the most uncomfortable thing to carry. Can't carry it over the shoulder, in the crook of your elbow. Weighs way too much and, is just plain un-American.
