What is the difference between scart and non-scart? Is there less input lag and is the picture better?

i have it and its trash. this review is bad and he didnt even test what he had to review.

What does it do?

I got this chair nearly a year ago, I fitted roller blade wheels to give it slightly more height and more manoeuvrability also less chance of hair getting stuck in axles. It's a nice comfortable chair and great for my permanently injured back.

Ok, I bought one. But it is only for use with PC, Mac. I was using it on a high-powered home stereo and it suddenly stopped working. As much as I tried to revive it, the power light would not come on. So, for low power, it's fine, for high power stereo equipment, not good. Does it sound different? Yes. Durability, well, you get what you paid for. Do not substitute the power supply with some other, "might work" power supply. The company should supply the correct power supply.

So would you recommend just using the fire stick in it? Seems you can’t use your phone for much? Also I’m on iOS?

I tried this one with my GameCube using a full RGB SCART cable but the image was completely washed out with a lack of contrast. Couldn’t even see or read everything on the screen especially the whites. Looks like the composite cable you use for your PSX doesn’t have that issue. Gotta check if I have a cable like that as well :-).

I have one similar to the one you reviewed but mine has a remote control which I love. I added a Bluetooth transmitter so I could connect Bluetooth headphones. Pair the headphones and Bluetooth transmitter first. When they pair then connect the Bluetooth to the input 3.5mm jack on the output side of the Digital to Analog converter. Don't forget to go to the sound settings on the TV menu and select Digital out and select PCM. Also set your TV speaker to ON.

I bought it last year and used it quite a lot (never changed the settings though) before putting it aside in winter. Now I connected it again... app doesn't start (smartphone says there's a bug), so I removed and downloaded it again... doesn't find the machine. I had the app send me a code 8 times as the only button I could press starts the set up again (the word 'connected' appeared and disappeared, but no purifier to be seen, going back started everything anew and pushing the button sent an email with a new code). 😱😱 The remote: USELESS!!!!! The on/off button is the only button that makes sense, the up and down arrow just changes the fan strength. I could no longer change temperature. Hey Philips, people may have the manual with them on startup, and pressing several buttons (at the same time) may not be a hindrance then, but it's supposed to be USER FRIENDLY when people take it out of the closet too. I spent an hour yesterday pushing everything without knowing what I was doing. It did about everything except change temperature. This is a bloody expensive piece of ..., at least make an app and a remote that works!!!!!! I'm really pissed!🤬🤬

Would this be suitable for projecting sewing patterns down on to a table? Is it short throw? Im new to projectors 😅

I have this. My setup is TV to this converter with SPDIF optical cable, then from the converter to my old DVD system with RCA (white+red). This old DVD player doesn't have HDMI nor SPDIF optical unfortunately. TV is then set to SPDIF on the setting and it works. BUT I can't get 5.1 to work with the TV, it basically works as a 2.1 system - no sound from the center nor from the two surround speakers. Just the front right, front left and sub work. I can get all 5 speakers to work and play the same sound through the DVD player setting (by setting it to MATRIX), but I would like to have a 5.1 system working as it should with the TV, while watching movies or playing the PS5. Does this converter really works with 5.1? I doubt it. It's probably due to the rca cables but why in the world would they advertise this as 5.1 compatible and even have it written on the outter "shell"?

Is it noisy ?

I saw some comments about vibration in amazon, its too much. I heard about some diy customizations to make it less vibrating haha but it's like 100 bucks

what about the weight? Isn't it a bit heavy? In some shops I see it with 1 kg while in amazon around 1.4 kg.

Looks like the piece of junk i got off of Ebay. If so, it doesn't do RGB. Thus it won't work with the Commodore 128 in 80 column mode.

I'm actually getting one for tattooing.

I was looking for HDMI to Scart, if such a thing was possible. Clearly not it seems.

Right out of the box mine flew great. Only took a minute or so to get it flying. Love it very much. Would recommend it to anyone.
