That was a disappointment.
As seen in this video review, I was excited to see this 32" Fire TV. I love the idea of Fire TV's along with Androids. They are the logical route to go down to keep TVs up-to-date.
The picture is definitely better than the sound. I tried the different sound options but there are no real differences so I didn't keep that in the video review.
The picture is not dreadful and when watching "Prime" the picture looks great. CZcams shows lots of artefacts.
The big issue was what happened after the filming of this video. I turned it off and took it to another room. I powered it up and it looked to attempt an update again. Then the TV Briked itself.
I headed to some chatrooms and tried to unplug the TV, hold the power button down for 10 seconds, and then plug it back in waiting for the “Toshiba/Fire TV logo”. No joy. ( Head to 15:02 in the video review to see it bricked up!)
So with this outcome, the 3*** I was going to give it has become a 1*.
Great idea, but poorly executed.
