And as you squeeze the brake cylinders with your C clamp you push brake fluid back up into the master cylinder where it overflows and runs all over the bulkhead and strips off paint leaving an unholy ugly mess. I know, 'I WAS THAT MAN'. Well only if you keep topping up the fluid as the pads wear. You could not top up fluid if you prefer but be prepared for sudden spongy brakes. I tell you what, Dalton. I've always been into mechanical things, but I had a father with 10 thumbs, and we didn't have CZcams when I grew up. I had nobody to learn from. Now I hate when people mansplain things to death, or they talk to the viewer like they're monkeys in a zoo, explaining which end to hold a screwdriver in. You make me want to work on cars. You make me want to learn more. You make me feel good about my skills, while surprising me with the results you achieve. Almost singlehandedly you get a lot done, and you have a very different style than almost anyone else. That's why you're channel is the only channel on CZcams that I support. The low buck club is a genius idea! I'm in Europe, I'm Danish, and you have also managed to change my view on Americans, actually. That starter is old and it wouldn't hurt to replace it. But they keep talking about having to beat on the starter to get it to work tells me it could be the selinoid and not the whole starter

The 93 Lumina was a great car. Came in a 2 door, 4 door and a wagon that really was not related to the Lumina in any way but name. GM discontinued the 2 door Lumina and by the end of the year, a rebadged 2 door lumina became the Monte Carlo, like -- it's magic. Like the Cimmeron by Cadilac, the first year Monte Carlo was merely rebadged, few if any other changes were made to the car. But Let me tell you how people would argue that their lofty Monte Carlo WAS NOT a Lumina. LOL yes it was, they didn't even change the tail lights, it was a true blooded Lumina. Now we know how Dalton can make such magic changes, rebadge a Lumina and it magically becomes a Monte Carlo, brand new, LOLOlolol

You guys need a poor mans ultrasonic parts cleaner. Basically a big deep soup kitchen pot that the whole carb can bebdumped in, a hotplate and some simple green or pinesol. Fill the pot with water,dump a coffe cup of detergent in it with the carb and let it boil for an hour or 2. Carb will come out clean and everything will loosen up.

I always enjoy all the videos I was wondering your dad's always bragging about how he gets tired so cheap from that place aren't you just put a set of cheap new tires on the thing something that fits instead of cutting it up I noticed in the future when you cut up all the wires like a lame brain sometimes I wonder you're a mechanic and you cut the wires on so many things cuz you're lazy don't be so lazy when it comes to wiring cuz it's a disaster when you cut it but I'm not here to scold you I just those tires are way too gigantic for that thing get a set of off-road things like the ones that puddings from putting Fab shop he bought a set for his Corolla or Toyota or whatever he calls it.? Late to the video, but always hook up the positive cable to the battery first, negative last. Less chance of sparks. JMHO but NAPA is pretty good at getting parts for old and odd vehicles. Not perfect but better than most others.

Great informative video. I work on vehicles constantly with my 14 year old son and I love seeing you having JD wrenching with by your side. We keep talking about starting a channel but having the time to do all the filming and editing would be challenging. Plus, does CZcams need another car channel? Lol.
