I’m really curious about what do you bring to eat to the test center that wouldn’t make you fall asleep? Or just normal practice exam 30 minute breaks?

Thanks for the tips! I’m retaking the MCAT (second attempt in 2 weeks!) and I’ve been working on making sure the answer choice answers the question. I relate SO much to second guessing and changing my answer from the right to wrong one. I also wrote a short summary after reading each paragraph to help me stay focused. I, too, keep logs of questions for all sections of every question, even the ones I get correct. While I make sure I answer every question, I often flag those I’m not 100% sure so I can review later if time allows. CARS is my favorite section as I’m a non-traditional applicant with a BA in English!

I want to ask a question: How can we eat breakfast, lunch and dinner in there and how is the price? Does it get paid before we go to Australia, or do we need to pay for it every day?

I studied at Western, and the most beautiful thing about it was the campus, facilities and diversity of students. It was like having a big family and finding every other person going through some challenge happy to help you along the way. The awful thing about UWO was the Faculty of General Science, and counsellors who judged you at every step without considering the issues you might be having. Another sad thing is Health Services because they don't take into consideration the issues you might be facing and they just brush it off, unless it is very serious. I found Social Sciences to be more considerate than the General Science department.

I'm Japanese and so many disregard my hard work and commitment it took to get into medical school and instead some disregard it by saying, "Well of course you got into med school; you're Asian." -_- Great video!

If anyone is stressed about typing speed mine is lower than all the comments I’ve seen 😅 however I did score in the 4th quartile so I wouldn’t stress! Just make sure to use words like “comfort, non-judgemental, compassion, understanding, integrity, discipline, etc..” like.. words that they want to hear! Delivery is most important, not grammar or even completing sentences. I was cut off in the middle of sentences during the typing and video responses.

Not a true walkthrough. He walks you through how he would do it but doesn’t do a good job throughly explaining incorrect answers.

I came here because I was feeling frustrated that I haven't seen a lot of improvement in my CARS practice. I have been taking several practice exams and I wasn't "acing" (eye roll) the CARS section like others. I think the best tip is to practice and trust yourself. Dont worry about others and just keep practicing!

When I took my diagnostic test the CARS section was the best for me but I still need a lot more practice. Your video was really helpful and provided a lot of great ideas I’m gonna try to incorporate into my studying :))

For what type of exams is Anki used? For tests? Can it be used for essays? I have a problem remembering the structure of the essay and I always forget the things I need to write.

Some of the days it says to read 1-4 chapters of Kaplan and some 1-7 chapters of Kaplan..how are you supposed to do that? I feel like it takes me a while to just get through 2 chapters a day 😬

Hi! I had a question regarding doing third party cars. I know you did several of them per day before starting AAMC, so how did you not get caught up in the logic before moving on to aamc since their logic is different? How did you make sure to not get caught up on third party cars reasoning when u go over the answers (basically how did you go over them) Im scared that once i transition to aamc cars, my score will be lower because i heard their logic is diff than third party Also do you recommend doing TPR hyperlearning cars workbook from 2011? I saw it on ur mcat schedule and I was wondering what u liked about it!
