New subbing here.
Love the music and voice.
Many thanks for the compliment
here is the return where you come from and it is from there that everything will start again in Africa with the return to the sources and to the devil the new world which was built with the extermination of the Indians and slavery
Nice one
Enjoy everything excluding the singing regarding Jesus.
Music was a way for the slaves to express their emotions. This could be grief or joy, most of these songs were passed down from generation to generation throughout the period of slavery and beyond. These songs constitutes one of the largest and most significant forms of American folksong know as “Negro Spirituals”.
Michael, thank you for this educational video.
This is so sad omg can’t hold my tears
We need to rewrite our history as black people Akwaaba to motherland the gateway to Africa Black Stars of GHANA🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
Great one

Je n'ai que des larmes pour moi. Nos frères doivent rentrer
J'espère qu'ils reviendront un jour
L'Afrique aura beaucoup à gagner si nos frères revenaient aux pays. Ensemble nous construirons ce continent
Très vrai
I see you must be a 2nd-unit cinematographer who captured these shots as your work for the project's local production-services vendor? 😏

@@michael-Kunke You all ready gained a new fan Ms Sizzles Diaries out of Namibia.
Advance advertising is a smart idea.
Where I can watch it?
First of all, it's originally not an English language documentary! It was produced for arté®, that bilingual, binational European States-broadcaster.
Going in January, God willing

nice one there
Nice
The great Dagbon, may we live with peace forever.
Do people realize the slave trade is still going on ? Channel your anger over centuries old evil to fight the present evil. There are more tears being shed for what happened 300 years ago than for those being enslaved today.
Hey this is Wolf King and I’m here from my brother TIA. We are family now
This CPB Doc series has been broadcasted on DW as well as Aljazeera. Each time uploaded to CZcams by the broadcasters and each time purged by CZcams. The doc series doesn't fit the historical narrative on American slavery in the United States, so the doc series is continually purged. It's all the white man's fault is the American-left political narrative, when in reality it's all our fault and that's why Slavery still exists today. Keep us divided by controlling information and then we can be controlled.
Your order of naming English-language global broadcasters( I presume?) has been reversed. Ahhh.. Well! Then it's all the more heartening that you're all going all too conspiratorial. Not literate in how international audiovisual content-distribution business works. Or did you think the makers were doing a "post-Enlightenment charity"?
@@maazkalim Bad assumption. Or were you looking for the series since it's scheduled to be rebroadcasted this week on DW? @Mᴥāz Kalīm This series premiered in French and is promoted by UNESCO. It has appeared on DW, RT, Al Jazeera, and arte France . The series has never been broadcasted on a American national television network. All 4 parts have removed from CZcams except for the trailer. Part one can be found on Vimeo. Next showing March 14th on DW. If you want to defend the commie-fascist scumbags at CZcams go ahead, but please don't deny their racist viewpoint on history.
You're too sure of yourself! But ahhh.. At least I learned that: A) You hate Communism. And... B) This miniseries also aired in whole on Kremlin's mouthpiece. I assume it must be the global [ RT]® English feed, eh? If so.. May you please cite your claim? And also.. A myth-busting: C) UNESCO® endorses or “promotes”, as you put it: Many things. Doesn't mean anything beyond purely symbolic. Ergo, this miniseries is not a charity.
@@maazkalim you're too immature to know how to handle statements of fact and observation. American media isn't worth defending. But you can keep trying. Good luck. And by the way, Collectivism and its political tentacles murdered over hundred million people in the 20th alone (Democide, University of Hawaii). So please take your opinions elsewhere. Your intellectual ineptitude is boring.
"Genius", I'm not even defending the Murican mainstream-press. Not even remotely-close. So.. If you're inept to observe the Laws of Scientific Reasoning because of your RW sanctimony, you can shove it where it doesn't shine. I shall classify the point ‘B)’ as nullified.
goof one there brother
Good work!!!
Thank you
Dear Michael, where can I watch the full episodes? They seem to not be sold anywhere...
It aired recently on DW TV, I’ve tried getting in touch with the producers because you’re like the 4th person requesting for it. I will follow up again and see if I can get any results
